The street tacos at Taqueria Los Dos Compadres were among the best we've had. The chips and salsa were very good, too. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere and vibe were perfect.

I have been looking for some birria tacos since moving for school about a month ago. This is the spot. I'm going to dream of their tacos. I think I blacked out for the first two because I was eating them so fast. The red hot sauce gave the perfect spicy burn with the broth. 10/10. I think going back will be my reward, like, once a month after big tests and stuff while I'm in grad school. I'll be back!

When you walk into this restaurant, it is filled with Hispanics because this is the place to eat Mexican food in Calera. The owner is extremely nice every single time. Family friendly. The music is not too loud. We’ve eaten here multiple times in the past 3 years and never had a bad meal. The owner allowed us to have a birthday party there and everything was absolutely perfect. 10/10 recommend!
My least liked Mexican place. The cheese dip and salsa are both soooo watery. The food was bland. We didn’t even eat half and definitely did not take it home. So disappointed and very sad because super nice people.

The Alambres dinner is delicious! Pineapple, chicken, beef and shrimp sautéed to perfection. Rice is seasoned but no veggies in it. The street tacos are delicious. My son had tacos birria and loved it! Sauce was delicious and near cooked very well. We will be back.
