Zapopan is my favorite Mexican restaurant around. We have been eating here regularly for over 10 years. The food is so consistent!
The last few years we do a lot more takeout with our kids, and they get the orders perfect every single time for us.

Ordered Coke got diet Coke. Ordered queso never got it. No cheese on the enchiladas. The tamale was supposed to be beef but it was chicken and it was the driest tamale I've ever had. My taco was brought separately but she brought tortillas instead of a taco, I opened the tortillas touched them and she realized it came and got them and still served them to the customer they were supposed to go to. All the food was cold.

Be aware this place is more American take on Mexican food than Tex Mex - Mexocan food. I ordered a simple mix plate of challah, chile relleno and flauta. What I got was a soggy tostada (beans smothering a fake tostada), 1 flauta again with fake tortilla (like the chips) and a sad bell pepper slice (no poblano) drowned with a ground beef sweet cheese flavor. So yeah... still hunting for a more authentic take on Mexican food. All in all, the Coca Cola w ice was tasty.

This has been my favorite Mexican restaurant since I was a child. Now my son loves it too. They're always very nice, the service is normally great, and the food is delicious.
They have been doing it since I was a kid and as an adult this place STILL slaps!! So dang good, the service is Always on point. Thank y'all so much for being there :)
