“I’m not a coffee drinker. But a local chef(shout out to Whitney Simone!) I follow and patronize raved about Rochelle’s grit bowl, so I decided to try breakfast here. I wished that it was advertised that breakfast was sold here because I always thought this place was just a coffee spot. Anyway, I was sooooo impressed with the cuteness of the decor inside. It felt very cozy and intimate. Soft music played in the background. I love the branding on the cups and other merchandise for purchase. Upon entering, my friend and I were greeted warmly. We placed our orders and found a place to sit. The seats were comfy and a bright red that matched the theme of it also being a lounge. There was a little free library where you could take home a free book. There were several small tvs available to watch. Our food came out after a short wait. Yall….my grit bowl was absolutely splendid! The grits were creamy and perfect- not too thick, not too thin. The meats were delicious as were the eggs. My friend enjoyed his pancakes but also wanted to try the grit bowl after hearing me rave about mine. After he devoured his, he agreed that it was just as good as I told him it was. My peach smoothie came in this cute little sealed cup with the branding on it. I love a business that doesn’t skip on the branding! I enjoyed my experience here 100% and I’m even thinking of returning tomorrow morning for breakfast! One thing I would improve: I hope the owners consider advertising that they sell breakfast as well. Folks like me that may not be coffee drinkers but who love breakfast will gladly patronize the business…if we know they sell more than coffee. Overall, this place earned my 5 stars.”

“The Birria Pizza is amazing or as my husband says, "damn, that's good!!" The tamales were delicious and the fruit and cream is a yummy dessert! These are great people go support them and eat some of their delicious food!”

“I usually eat here sir by a pleasant waitress, but this last time we were seated in the area the female waitress was snappy mean grouc😖hy, raise a voice🔥🌋 not friendly at all, and when I mentioned it to the male hostess, seated us, he reply, you can sit wherever you want to then.. after seated in the next area the waitress barely wanted to talk to us, we had to call her over to our table each time. 🌆 I then lost my appetite!!We will not be going back!!🔥🌋🌋!!!!👎👎👎👎👎😵‍💫😈”

“This was our first time and it was absolutely excellent from start to finish! The manager, Brandon, was SO genuinely welcoming and accommodating. Our server, Parker, was flawless and so much fun (request him!). Every dish was perfectly cooked, refined and full of flavor (smoked salmon, fried green tomatoes, fried oysters, rainbow trout, swordfish with andouille, ribeye with truffle fondue). The cocktails and wine all perfect. Will definitely return and want to thank Blueprint for a truly wonderful experience!”

“The berry Danish is absolutely fantastic! I'm pretty sure the rice krispy has peanut butter in it. If so, allergic people be aware. The service was very quick, and the person that cashed me out (has an industrial piercing) was very friendly and actually paid attentive rather than having the usual blank customer service face.”

“We are visiting Birmingham this weekend for the Lake Street Dive show tomorrow. Restaurant Week led us to OvenBird. Last night we ordered the Tomato Salad, Hanger Steak and Roasted Chicken. Among the best, most delicious meal we’ve ever had. The Tomato Salad is over the top delectable. Chris, our server, welcomed us to the restaurant and to Birmingham with informative, gracious service. Highly recommended!”

“We came for our 37th wedding anniversary. It was our 1st time eating here. Our server was Bishop. Bishop was amazing....staring woth the glass of celebratory champaign, picking a perfect wine pairing, explaining the dishes, great sense of humor....he helped make our experience fun and memorable. The food....OH. MY. GOODNESS!!! The food was amazing. Cooked to perfection! From the bread, Amuse Bouche, appetizer (great fried green tomatoes, by the way!!!) Intermezzo, main course (ribeye and braised rabbit), and dessert with coffee....every step was amazing! A truly wonderful sensual experience from all the aromas, flavors, and ambiance. We will definitely be back, and will definitely recommend Cafe DuPont to others. Thank you for making our celebration special!”

“This past weekend, we went to Pizza Grace because the original owners sold it to the owners of Big Spoon Creamery. So, out of fear and curiosity, we wanted to see if our favorite pizza place was still our favorite pizza place. Let’s just start. The garlic bread they switched the focaccia with pizza dough, spread fairly thin so it was light and crispy and they swapped the garlic oil for garlic butter with herbs. This was actually really good! We both enjoyed it and thought the flavor of the butter was way better than the original garlic olive oil spread. However, I think they should have kept the focaccia bread and just swapped the olive oil with the garlic and herb butter. That would have been an easy 10/10. But unfortunately, even though it was still very good, it gets an 8.5/10. The pizza itself was still basically the same. We got the pepperoni pizza. Upon arrival and tasting, we could tell they cut back on the red pepper flakes, which we were both happy about. Our main issue was the fact that we could tell, visually, the pizza was smaller and not as big as it used to be. We didn’t like that we were paying basically the same price for less pizza. I’d recommend either making the pizzas bigger again or lowering the price. This also would have been a 10/10, but we’re taking off points for the pizza being visibly smaller and giving it a 9.5/10. For dessert, I got the Big Spoon Bar, which has fior di latte, salted caramel, TCHO chocolate, sea salt, and hazelnut in it. No notes here easy 10/10. I literally could not complain. First bite was heaven! All in all, this was very good with only a few minor disappointments. Is this still my favorite pizza place? Yes. Will I return? Yes, I will but I also think it depends on whether they adjust the price or return the pizza to its original size. That’s literally just how we feel since we’ve been going there for years. “Had been wanting to get here since they opened and it just hadn’t worked out. Well, my wife and I remedied that and what a great experience!! We love Automatic and just knew this would be a hit. Did not disappoint in the least, from the moment you walk in, atmosphere is welcoming and on point, friendliness of the staff was top notch!

We had a drink in the bar while we waited for our reservation, they could have seated us but we wanted to experience a drink at the bar, bartenders were super professional and made excellent drinks!

The food, what can I say, everything we tried we amazing. We will be back soon as there are so many others items that looked amazing and the menu does change with the seasons. I had the short rib, Bulgogi tacos, they were so dang good!! Wife had the curry noodles, I would say the best I’ve ever had!

“We have a wheel chair bound member of our party. The staff knew exactly what her needs were without asking. Salad was chopped so for a change she didn't have to sit there like a child while someone at the table cut her salad. Bathroom was totally accessible. Food was delicious. Wonderful visit.”

“We're not huge fans of Greek food, but we tried Tasty Town, mainly for convenience. We had planned a very packed day of sight-seeing in Birmingham on a Saturday. It seemed that hardly any eatery would be open and there wasn't time allowance to drive out of the downtown area, without being late for the next activity. Thus, we settled on a mid-afternoon lunch/dinner at Tasty Town. Honestly, both of us thought it was better than we had anticipated and the service and location were top notch. Thanks, Tasty Town!
