“The hotel was fine for what was paid. It was clean and in a excellent location. The I've machines didn't work so that wasn't fun, however Circle K was directly across the street and there was a freezer available to keep ice. The staff wasn't the friendliest but they were professional.”

“This was our first time and it was absolutely excellent from start to finish! The manager, Brandon, was SO genuinely welcoming and accommodating. Our server, Parker, was flawless and so much fun (request him!). Every dish was perfectly cooked, refined and full of flavor (smoked salmon, fried green tomatoes, fried oysters, rainbow trout, swordfish with andouille, ribeye with truffle fondue). The cocktails and wine all perfect. Will definitely return and want to thank Blueprint for a truly wonderful experience!”

“Take your tastebuds on a magical journey that will delight and thrill. This is as authentic as it gets for Greek cuisine in Alabama. There is most definitely truth in advertising as everything was indeed tasty. Since I couldn’t decide on what to order I instinctively went for a whole assortment of different flavor profiles. The baked chicken is the tell , if you go to a Greek restaurant and they don’t have a good baked chicken… walk out. This should be a staple on every single Greek menu. Seemingly innocuous but it is the cannery in the coal mine so to speak for what you can expect for the rest of the meal. It outperformed even my high expectations. Served with a grilled lemon to squeeze over the top it was perfectly salted and not over or under cooked. Our sides were the Greek fries (which were crispy in all the right ways, and a punch of saltiness from the cheese) I asked for some taziki sauce for the chicken but dipped my fries on it as well. Honestly I didn’t even dip the chicken in it because it tasted so good on its own I didn’t have to. I also feasted upon the spinach rice and tabouleh and both were opposites on the flavor spectrum one with warm savory spices that melted with the tomatoes and rice and the other bursting with fresh herbs and spring vegetables with Frekkah which is a roasted green wheat that adds such a wonderful texture and pleasant yet slightly nutty flavor. The orzo “Mac and cheese” is no ordinary Mac and cheese side, this Greek version of a classic dish had such an amazing mouth feel with some garlic and herb notes that just elevated it to the next level. And I’m going to end where we started which was with the appetizers. I can never get past the spanakopita (which is heavy on the dill just like I like it) But today I added in the garden humus which had fresh limas and asparagus with an array of herbs with a drizzle of olive oil… and that is just the topping, underneath laid a silky smooth hummus that was not grainy or bitter . The fresh pita sent me over the moon… I was in greek heaven. The chicken pita was like having all the freshness of the salads and the spot on roasted chicken all in one…. So you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. I have yet to try something I absolutely didn’t love . We were so stuffed that we had to get the desserts to go but my god … if you haven’t been here you are missing out on one of the best restaurants Birmingham has to offer. It’s a hidden gem in plain sight.”

Starting off with the drinks, the Oaxacan Old Fashioned didn't quite hit the mark for me. Lacking that bold Mezcal punch I was craving, it fell a bit on the lighter side. However, the Mexican Firing Squad was a delightful twist on a classic margarita, hitting all the right notes. And let's not forget the Ranch Water - light, refreshing, and a hit with the wife. As for the experience, it was top-notch. The staff were absolute champs, handling our rowdy group with ease and adding to the overall fun factor of the evening. Ambience-wise, think normal lighting with a light-colored interior, but the real star was the impressive ofrenda that added a touch of authenticity to the space. Now, onto the ending thoughts. Here's the deal - Adios keeps things interesting by rotating out their house cocktails regularly. While it's cool to try new concoctions, it's a bit of a bummer if you find your new favorite and it disappears. Nevertheless, with their stellar cocktails and upbeat atmosphere, I'll definitely be making a return trip. Cheers to that!”

“This is probably(?) the most upscale Italian restaurant in Birmingham.I ordered shrimp risotto as an appetizer, and for mains I ordered basic pasta and New York strip steak. As you can see, the risotto has a small amount of rice and is very salty, but not to the point of being inedible. The pasta and steak were really delicious. I cooked the steak medium and it was just perfect. Although the quantity was a little small, the quality was acceptable.Oh, that's right, the other customers were dressed up in dresses or suits, but I was the only one dressed casually, which was a bit embarrassing. “The lamb and chicken shawerma took my heart back to Cairo. Both sandwiches were a steal as the ingredients were top-notch quality. This place rivals the shawarma of Cairo and Madinah ( both having the BEST in the world). The garlic sauce has the perfect texture and the bread is that perfect chewiness. I cannot recommend this small sandwich joint any higher. I also had the kunafa….rivals that of my own home!!”
