“Princeton Alternative Elementary School hired Gus's to cater an outside "tailgating" experience for about 200 students, staff, and parents. Lee and his staff member exceeded our expectations. They were timely, prepared, and eager to help us in any capacity. They served everyone with a smile and pleasant attitude. Our event was a success because of the delicious food and excellent service. We are so glad to have found a partner in Gus's and look forward to having them at future events.“

“Bought a hot dog..it grew legs and arms and attacked me with great speed..it opened its mouth revealing 52,652 sharp teeth and took a bite out of me like I was the hot dog all other customers sat there and watched it happen… cops show up and try to pry it off me but nothing worked.. forever traumatized. “I've been driving past this place for months and thought I needed to try it. Today was the day, Chili Cheese dogs for me and Slaw dogs for a co-worker. Fries and Tots too, both of out meals were good, friendly people behind the counter too. Looks like they have a good variety of other standards for this type of small restaurant. “It's in the middle of the city basically and, they do give military discounts so I got 15% off military discount babe I mean the food's not to die for but the food is good, it's better than you can make it home, but it's expensive. And I mean I believe that it's more expensive than your average restaurant, I mean it's not McDonald's either so, you get better food for the same price then you would at McDonald's but it's still $20 to go in there and eat and so I just think that that's getting too expensive I guess it's comparable to anywhere else, but it's still ridiculous“

“I had not been to a Sneaky Pete’s in at least 30 years, always had great food so working in the area I decided to stop.
WOW! SO GLAD I DID!
The ladies working there were SO sweet and nice, the food was as great as I remembered. This brings back great memories.
I got the loaded dog, it was too big for me to eat for lunch, a really fat sausage with special sauce, meat sauce, fries, jalapeños and cheese sauce with a side of fries and a drink.
It was messy but oh so tasty! Even though it is about 8 miles away I will definitely be coming back, not just for the food but the service as well.
Message to the owner, you need to keep those ladies at whatever it costs! Wish I had gotten names but the ladies working in 10/25/24 were great!“

“It's a hole in the wall place but the food is great. I had the cheese burger and onion rings and they were awesome. My kid had the chicken sandwich with fries and he loved it! All together with an extra side of fries I paid about $26 so it wasn't bad for the amount of food we got :)“

“I've been eating Sneaky Pete's hotdog since I was a little kid. The food is great, but it's much more than that. It's more than just a hot dog restaurant, it's a Birmingham icon. Everyone from here and travels through here should have a Sneaky Pete's hot dog.“

“I enjoyed my burger there both times I visited. A hot, double patty with fresh, chilled fixings. Good tea as well. It's right around the corner from the North Pavillion of UAB.

I'd recommend ya stop in if you're around there. Spent $14 for the meal, and it was worth it.“
