Waffles in Centre, AL

“Would have given 5 stars if not for yesterday's experience... Wife and I stopped in for supper... I ordered the 2 porkchop meal and distinctly told the waitress I wanted them fried... When she brough my plate I noticed that the chops had been grilled... I asked the waitress why they weren't fried and she said they only do that on Wednesdays... I asked why she didn't tell me that when I ordered and also told her that should have been stipulated on the menu... She claimed she didn't hear me say "fried"... I decided to at least try the grilled chops, but they weren't fully cooked with a rubbery texture... The heavyset cook pointed his finger and got shouted rudely... The waitress offered me chicken fingers (which were good) to make up for the chops... While I was eating them my wife told me to look at the cook eating a chicken finger while he was at the grill...“
