“I've read other reviews & can't believe the negative comments. We ate here last night & though there was an hour wait, that was in part to how busy it was (live band & gorgeous Saturday night). The food is bar style food-- what do you expect halfway underground- 5 star?? The fried pickles were the best I've ever eaten (& I'm well-traveled) & the onion rings were divine. The entertainment was great (& they took requests). Children danced along in the dance floor & our table of 8 was entertaining in & of its own. Met some "friends" while waiting in line (as another review mentioned: you don't have to wait in line.... however, I think it would be better managed if you did wait-- it is like an unmanaged &v oversized vhostess stand with 100 people standing on gravel & in the sun). What myself & the new "friends" in line suggest is to serve beverages up top, under a canopy while you wait. I would suggest this to keep it manageable & limit those who walk down. If you don't do that, maybe consider having everyone register at a hostess stand at the gift shop (think cracker barrel) & shuttle parties down in a golf cart. Not everyone can walk down to the cavern so those who cut line are inconsiderate to the others. The hostess was fast, the ID taker was cool, our particular waitress was AMAZING (wish I had taken her name)... the raspberry cider was good... I'm glad we tried it-- you should, too!“
