“The prices are very reasonable, especially given how much food you get. I was told they have the biggest pancakes in the Shoals...and I believe it! The staff is very friendly and polite. My husband and I both got soda with our breakfast and adding in the food shown, we only spent about $27 (not including tip) and I had a pancake leftover to take home. We definitely plan on coming back to try out the lunch menu sometime!“

“North Wood Social is seriously 🔥. The hamburger I had was fire, the potato salad was fire, and the curry was fire. This place has some bomb food, and I can’t wait to try more dishes.
The owner, who is also the cook, even brought me out a sample of the curry to try. He used to work at Rivertown and asked me if I used to go there, and honestly, it meant a lot that he recognized me from back then.
The waitstaff was super friendly too. I was going to call North Social a hidden gem, but honestly, it’s quickly becoming one of my favorite places to eat. I love supporting local businesses, especially when they’re serving real, delicious food made by people who genuinely care about what they’re putting out.“

“Today my family went for lunch today for Valentine’s Day it’s was by far the best lunch I have ever had!! The food is absolutely delicious we had a charcuterie board as appetizer it was so delicious I had the hot honey chicken sandwich my mom got a flatbread pizza and daddy got the mixed grill and beignets for dessert. It was so all so amazing and well as the view !! “what a great little breakfast spot! very warm and cozy atmosphere and we were seated right away even during a busy morning. entrees were reasonably priced and affordable.

i got the spinach and mushroom omelette and the two egg breakfast with chocolate gravy and biscuits. absolutely delicious and made me feel right at home. hashbrowns were thin yet still crispy.

overall, our experience here was great and so was the service. we definitely recommend!“

“Ate here last night, service was good to great, food was par to the area, a lot of similar looking places in north Alabama. But one thing did happen the I wanted comment on. I ordered my half rack “Dry, sauce on the side” a very common term used in restaurants, to order wings or ribs. Some people, don’t like their finger/face messy with BBQ sauce. My ribs came literally dried out, extra char, boarder line burnt. That would be “well done”, which I have never in all my 20+ years in the industry heard anyone order ribs well done. I didn’t dawn the on me until I got into bed that either the server or cook didn’t know the term “Dry”. We didn’t complain but I did comment when asked how the food was. I am writing this as a learning moment, and will be back again to get a proper rack. Kinda made me chuckle, when I figured out what happened. I hope I haven’t offended anyone, it’s really just a learning moment.“

“First time ever! Went to go to another restaurant but they were closed, so glad they were. Zachary was our waiter, great guy, wonderful service, excellent food, & the bartender was like no other. Service was quick and pleasant.

We opted for a Pulled pork plate with baked beans and potato salad; and a wing snack with vinegar slaw.

Pulled pork was moist and smoky. No sauce needed. Sides were excellent.

Wings were cooked nicely and I added a little of their mild BBQ sauce. Gave it a nice flavor. The vinegar slaw was a little dry and bland. Could have used some salt.

Overall good meal. No real complaints. Would go back.“

“Great place. Food is always good, and on the odd occasion it isn't, they make it right. I ordered a steak rare tonight, but it came out closer to medium. I sent it back, and the n3xt one they brought out still wasn't rare, it was more like medium-rare. I didn't send this one back, because I was ready to eat, but the manager comped my whole meal (she was present when I cut into the second and also saw it wasn't rare). I also ended up with 2 servings of my asparagus side, because I kept it from the first plate they brought me, but then they brought me more on the next plate. They definitely lost money on me tonight, but they didn't lose a customer. I'll be back for sure. I believe the manager's name is Anita Kelly. I will revise if wrong.“

“I have ALWAYS loved Logans, tonight I decided to get takeout because I just didn’t feel like sitting in a restaurant to eat. The To-Go person named Devin was amazing, she made sure I got everything I needed in my bag and was very patient with me. Over the phone I didn’t know what I wanted ( because I don’t have a menu right in-front of me) I kept feeling embarrassed! She reassured me that it was okay that I just take all the time I need. “They've had a recent renovation. Much nicer than any other Waffle House I've ever been in. Better lighting, seating doesn't feel tight. There's a lot more options for hash browns than there used to be, biscuits were delicious and yummy Southern. The waitress was very helpful too. Omelets are not on the menu anymore, but they WILL make you one if you ask!“

“I had coupons for the month so I got a chance to dine in often this month. Everyday I dined in, I always had such a welcoming vibe. The food was always good and the staff is always so nice!
