“My previous post concerning Waffle House was about the one on beltline.. The Waffle House on 6th Ave. Actually sold me one can of tomato juice and did not bicker about it. Could have charged me $2.40 for the one can. I don't know and do not care. $2.40 would break me. Such stupidity... by the way. I stopped at the 6th Ave first then two days later at the Beltline Waffle House.“
“WOW! Ate here for the first time and it was pleasant surprise to get friendly people, fast service, good eats, and fair pricing. Located in a very plain nondescript building this restaurant knocks the pants off any other deli in the area. The bathrooms were immaculate as well as the entire establishment. You enter, order, pay, sit down and your food is brought out to you. Simple yet elegant. Strongly suggest you try it out. I'll be back for sure.“
“What happened to the food? I have been going here for years once every few months. I must say the staff that I interacted with was great as always and the vibe was very comfortable. Maybe just an off night, the steak was more than subpar, tough and just difficult to eat, salmon was ok but have had much better at Railyard in the past. I hope it is just a random occurrence and food will be back to what made Railyard the best place to eat in Decatur.“
“Tried Hard Hat café for the first time today from a recommendation posted on FB (never knew this place existed until then) and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The fried fish was the best I've had in years (hot sauce was not needed for that delicious fillet), the yams were cooked to perfection, and nothing went to waste on our plates. All I can say is everything was absolutely on point! Go support this local business you won't be disappointed!!“
“It truly would be a 5 star experience if the wait time to get your food wasn't so long. Our server was very good and very polite. The kitchen staff and the busters were a little too interested in playing and having a good time. Overall, the food was excellent flavor wise But was it worthy of overall expense? Not really. A little bit more pricey than similar restaurants in the area.“

“Haven't ate here in awhile so we decided to give it a try. Got in and got seated pretty quickly. First and foremost DO NOT go here expecting speedy service or if you are hungry. It was busy but not too busy where we couldn't get waited on. I'm not going to rant on and on about it I think I made my point.However, when the food finally got there it was really delicious and we enjoyed it.Be your own judge, just because our server never came back to the table except to bring the bill may not happen to you.Good luck“

“We originally went to the Hard Dock across the river and they were out of almost everything (salads included) so we came back and ate at the hotel- SO glad we did! Great food. The pork chop and the Cobb BLT salad were both really great. Dakota is a great addition to this restaurant/bar and she gave us 10/10 service- one of the best waitresses I’ve had in a long time.“
“Have been in twice recently and both times we came in without a reservation. We were accepted and served as if we were a reservation. The food was extra delicious in the service is always really good. If you're looking for a place to go and eat at a nice place in Decatur Alabama that's the place to go. I would suggest a reservation for early dining“
“Great Place, just a little small. My second time going was about better than my first. My suggestion is even though you know your regulars and how they tip, you should take a chance on the new comers and show them attention and appreciation as well. Had a great night though, no complaints unless small is a complaint“

“There is no other restaurant that my family enjoys more than Wings To Go! We all love the Garlic Parmesan and Asian Fusion, but honestly all of the flavors are wonderful. They’re perfectly cooked as well with the right amount of crisp to compliment the sauce. If you want a sweet treat get the fried cheesecake! Amazing!! The customer service is second to none as well with the lady at the counter always being so friendly and sweet. She always greets us with a smile and warm welcome. We adore this place!“
“Waited on hostess a little to long. Waitress in beginning was helpful then later forgot us. We sat there waiting to get to go boxes and a check. To go boxes way too small for t bone....waited again....she notice I couldn't close box and brought new to go boxes the same size again. I said forget it I just want to go now! I spend more time waiting on my Waitress than I actually spent eating my food....and this was early when they just open. Why spend this high price when service is soon bad!!“
“The Decatur, AL Waffle House is the best one I’ve ever visited. I was a frequent flyer and they had my order memorized and would put it in for me right when I walked in the door. I’d normally be in and out in 25 minutes. Super friendly staff!“
“Service was great, Jose was very attentive and took great care of me. Bone in ribeye and wine selection was fantastic.Little on the pricey side, but for the area/location seems in line with other restaurants. Marriott has other options for different styles and budgets.“
“Saturday night we went to dinner at Golden Corral in Decatur, AL. We had not been there for a really long time. The food was pretty good. There was a lot of variety and there was not really anything that you could say was bad. The deserts were not too great. The cakes seemed to have been sitting around for a while and were not very fresh and, of course, there were a lot of families there who were not really keeping an eye on the kids going up to the buffet, but, all-in-all, We give it 4-stars.“
“The food is always great. But this is the second time in the last two visits that it took an extremely long time for our food to be served after ordering. When you have hungry little children with you, it’s very hard to wait 30-40 minutes for food to arrive.“
