“We hadn’t had iHop in years, so we decided to go one Saturday. They were relatively busy, but not overly so. What made our experience fantastic was our waitress, Jada. She. Was. Incredible! She made sure our 10-month-old got some food first so we didn’t have to worry about feeding him while we were eating. He kept dropping his teething toy on the floor, so she brought us a cup of warm water to rinse it off each time without us even asking! She was incredibly attentive and just an all around great person! We will definitely be back and it’s all because of Jada.“

“I have to start out saying WOW I came here a few yrs back and it was terrible so bad i called the company and complained and back then the only good thing they had was the shakes well today we got onion rings which was exceptionally amazing crunch fresh clean flavor and then a double cheese burger with the request of grilled onions and that was phenomenal and for sides we got the crunch wrap it had 2 pieces maybe 3 of chicken with this sauce that had a small kick but was great and cheese bites that was the thing i ddnt care for most but i have to say COOK OUT I will be back you guys i dont know if it new owners or better cooks who care about there job but it was really good today keep up the great work“

“I have been eating Penn’s cheeseburgers my entire life. My grandma used to bring me here as a child. Now, anytime I can get to Decatur before they close, I try to stop and get one. The burgers are awesome! You do need to know what you’re getting before you order it, or you might be confused. They serve what is called a “slug” burger. Originally named that because when they opened, the burgers cost a nickel. These burgers are from an era where times were hard, so “fillers” like bread crumbs were used in the patties to make the meat feed more people. The burgers are also deep fried. I love to get mine “all the way” which means with mustard and onions. Everyone should try them at least once.“

“We went today February 13th for Valentine's and Anniversary date. There were plenty of tables and several servers but we were told there would be a 15 minute wait. There were probably 10 to 12 people waiting right inside the door. The Asst. Manager came from the kitchen and started seating people. There was a large birthday party and I guess that is what had the kitchen behind. But Tiara, the bartender, was great!! She was waiting on and serving the tables in the bar area like a Queen! Food was just ok. But she was great!“

“You know, I love their French fries, always have. I tried the Bacon Double Melt, it was very good - warm after a 15 minute drive + being freezing, food gets cold fast. Point being, it was made relatively recently, within 5 minutes, of my order bc it was still good & hot/warm when I took the first bite. Fries were still hot on a bag nab otw home, all in all - not greasy, hot food for $12. Better than MOST.“

“5/11/26 update. Sonic is typically one of my favs. Today they let me down. Over time the Blasts prices go up and the cup size goes down. I get the local team can't control that, but at least fill up my cup. To get home and realize it was only barely half full was so disappointing. Be better.

“Everything was great, service was perfect and everyone is friendly. Only issue is had was I ordered the 4 peice catfish dinner. I got a bunch of small nuggets that wasn't bugger then a popcorn chicken. The breading was rock hard and I had to scoop out what little I could eat with no teeth. I ate 2 nuggets and the rest wasn't worth feeding to my cat. But they replaced it with real fish stripes so I got my monwy worth. But still love this place.“
