“My son and I stopped by the Hwy 31 location for lunch. I ordered the small catfish meal. It comes with fries which I exchanged for turnips and Cornbread. The catfish was cooked to perfection and the fresh turnips were spot on turnips. The Cornbread muffin was light and fluffy. The meal was a great value and made my tastebuds happy. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend Ramona J's to anyone who wants great food for a great price. Go ahead and tantalize your tastebuds.“

“Food was pretty good. Its home cooked southern cooking, a nice break from the norm. I believe the menu is posted on facebook daily. Catering or take out only.I got a entree and can drink. My can drink tasted funny...I Iooked at the bottom and it expired june 2019. Its july 2020.“

“We had a bad experience when the Madison location opened and when we got one here in Athens my husband and I decided to give it another chance. We are SO glad that we did! Ordered food, waited not even 5 minutes & got our food. We (2 people) got the family pack (10 pcs of fish with 2 sides of choice & hush puppies). Got fries & corn on the cob for the sides. It was a whole foam container of fries & 4, 5 inch pcs of corn on the cob. It was $39.39 which ins't bad for that amount of food. We both got full & had some to take home for under $40. The service was top notch which is hard to find anymore. Overall we were impressed. Highly recommended for sure!!“

“Wow you have to stop here at THIS IHOP! The food was so good compared to our IHOP back home! It came out quick too! Good 80s music playing as well. Clean inside. I wish the cook could be cooking at my local IHOP at home. The ingredients were fresh! The wife even commented on how tasty here breakfast was and the tomato was toasted and it really brings out the flavor. The spicy poblano was so good, fresh hot serrano peppers and the guacamole was so fresh. Please do stop!“

“The service could have been better. I mean I know waitresses there work for tips. However, mine would get a bigger tip if she wouldn't flirt with the man at the table. We are there to eat. And obviously he isn't interested if he isn't looking at you. So don't make it a point to touch, rub and ask if he is ok. Like I have kidnapped him....lol.. or I am not even there...damn!!!“

“Catfish Cabin is locally owned and they have the best food in Athens and the reason they run out of fish is because they stay buzy all time and if u haven't ever worked in fast food then u don't know what the workers there go through they try there best to please everyone that comes in but thats impossible and if ur short staffed like everyone is now you got to wait I don't see no body leaving the lines at Burger King r mickie d love the food there and there workers r amazing .Catfish Cabin gets 5 stars plus“

“Visited this establishment June 7th 2026 around 11:45am. Greeted at the door by the manager I'm assuming since he had a different shirt then the rest of the staff. He was very friendly along with the other staff. Establishment was clean. Didn't wait long for food, everything came out hot and how we ordered it. Staff was very engaging and accommodated our 1.5 year old very well. I travel alot for youth sports and I always eat at a waffle house wherever I'm at and this is by far the best one I've dined at.“
