I had coupons for the month so I got a chance to dine in often this month. Everyday I dined in, I always had such a welcoming vibe. The food was always good and the staff is always so nice! This is not a one time experience, I’m on my 5th visit at the point of this review and every 5 times I’ve had a great experience!
I haven't been in the restaurant in years. I go through the drive through about once a month. I HATE PEPSI so I don't want a fountain drink there. GET A COKE. You have to check your order before leaving drive through to make sure you get condiments you requested. sometimes it's slow.
Food was good but the drink station was gross and smelled like sewage. Might want to get it checked !!!

Captain D's serves fresh and hot seafood at a reasonable price point. The staff is consistently friendly, polite, and professional, with recent reviews highlighting a young man at the drive-thru who was particularly courteous and cheerful. The Catfish remains a highlight, being plump and perfectly fried, and the sides, including beans and Okra, are also well-prepared. The hush puppies are a must-try. However, some customers have noted issues such as overcooked and salty food, as well as long wait times, which may be due to being short-staffed. While the restaurant could use some updating and cleaning, the food and service continue to make it a recommended visit, with some meals being delicious and plentiful, while others may not meet expectations.
