The apple cinnamon bread pudding with caramel sauce were to die for. Odette exceeded our expectations and made Christmas Eve dinner really special. And speaking of drinks the bartender made our margaritas perfectly (I got the strawberry, very yummy) and I also got a drink that came with a rubber ducky that squeaks...super cute! The Chile Relleno plate was great, the portion size was pretty big. Our waitress was really kind and helpful, but sadly I didn't catch her name. Definitely give this place a shot if you want something that is a little different from your typical Tex-Mex place around here, they have a little of everything. : )”

“The food was excellent. 3 of us, and we all had a steak plate plus sides along with freshly baked mini loaf of bread with butter that went great with my iced fruit tea. There was a medium well, a well done and a medium rare. All 3 steaks were cooked to perfection. Baked potato for all, two of us had fire-grilled corn on the cob, one was grilled to perfection coated with butter and a touch of ranch dressing springled with herbs and mild spice. The other corn cob was a little over done but not bad. Our waitress had a pleasant personality, attentive to our needs, kept our drinks topped off plus the last one was in a to-go cup. Excellent meal cooked as requested with the one exception (corn cob). Excellent service, family style atmosphere, semi - busy but no delays in our meal. One steak was the Long Horn, a 22 oz. Porterhouse for $34 with the other two being New York Strip dinners for $25 per person. I had the fruit tea with the first one being Raspberry and the to-go cup being peach (both very good). The third member of our party of 3 is a diabetic with celiac issues. He asked that his meal be prepared using a gluten free method which did not appear to be an issue which was nice. My grandson now knows a great restaurant, with an excellent menu, properly prepared to his needs with excellent service. For those that like a beer or mixed drink with their meal, LongHorn Steakhouse has a full bar with sit down service for a before and after dinner cocktail. All in all a great way to spend an afternoon with my Son-in-Law and grandson. Definitely going back.

“I normally have a great experience at Rivertown. However, this morning the staff were more concerned about conversations with each other than getting the food out on time. Both the person in front of me and behind me had their order “forgotten”. I called my Oder in (so did the college student who was made late to class) and when I got there I paid and sat down to wait. After 30+min I asked about order since it wasn’t busy inside, the red head who took my money was in the back talking, and my order was still not ready, or so I thought. Apparently, my order was ready when I arrived but the redhead at the front forgot to hand it to me after I paid at arrival. So I left with a cold burrito. Never had this experience before. They have always had good service and great food. If the red head is there when I come next time I’m walking back out and going somewhere else.”

“My husband and I absolutely love ramen shops, so we have been all over trying different ones. The closest good one was Huntsville until this place opened! This is a hidden gem of Florence and I HIGHLY recommend it. The ramen is fantastic quality, the pork buns are fluffy and don’t fall apart, and the customer service is phenomenal. To top it off, they have the cute robot cat that brings you your food! Definitely give this place a try, and be sure to add a chicken bun to your order!!!”

Our pizza was piping hot with good flavor but it was around 6:20. Yes it was busy and thankfully we weren’t in a hurry. But To have returning Customers, do not let customers wait for close to 1.5 hours for food and not have their drinks refilled. A few staff members were working very hard together and a lot of staff members lacked any sense of urgency or willingness to help their fellow employees out. Management was lacking last night.”

We ordered the 3 tacos, burrito bowl, and a pint of queso. We then went down to Veterens park to eat by the water to discover our Queso was not there, so we packed up and went back. Expecting to not have any issues, I went in to politely let them know we didn't get our queso, and the gentleman proceeded to insinuate I was a liar. Was rude, and told me that it was in there, that it was sitting right there in a brown bag. well I said it must have ended up in someone else's bag and he rolls his eyes and says um no there wasn't anyone else here. Sir, yes there was..a gentleman ordering right behind me. I was just blown away that he would sit and tell me that I'm lying. I informed him that I paid 10 plus tax for this queso and was not leaving without it, to which he finally hesitantly and rudely gave me the queso, that I PAID FOR!! I understand that restaurants I'm sure have issues with people trying to get free food, but still this was uncalled for and honestly offensive. it will be a long time before we consider returning to this location. Do better!!! Also, we left them a tip too. Pleased with our service. In no way should I have been treated like a liar and gotten such rude service in returning for what we rightly paid for.”

I visited TURBO for the first time today. There was a bit of a wait, as only one person was making drinks. The young lady was working hard and doing a fine job to fill orders in s timely fashion. I could tell she was knowledgeable of the drink recipes as she made them.
I had a large plain black coffee and an everything bagel. Both were very good.
The atmosphere was modern coffee house and comfortable. You have to option to sit at the counter or at a table. Several people were working on their laptops.
This establishment also offers a variety of cold drinks, snacks and a small swag section as you enter.
I recommend this business.”

Service was quick and pleasant.

We opted for a Pulled pork plate with baked beans and potato salad; and a wing snack with vinegar slaw.

Pulled pork was moist and smoky. No sauce needed. Sides were excellent.

Wings were cooked nicely and I added a little of their mild BBQ sauce. Gave it a nice flavor. The vinegar slaw was a little dry and bland. Could have used some salt.

Overall good meal. No real complaints. Would go back.”

I went in the next day to request a refund of the difference of my meal price. The employees that handled the issue were top notch on customer service. I was treated pleasantly and accordingly. The manager that handled the refund was sweet and went above and beyond what I was requesting. She took an unpleasant experience and gave me multiple reasons to want to be a repeat customer. Great job in helping the customer and I’m grateful to see customer service still exist! Thank you for being outside of today’s norms!”
