My friends and I sat at the bar. Our server was phenomenal and the atmosphere was great. I had the chicken bacon ranch sandwich and it set the bar so high for next time. Truly a hidden gem of a restaurant.
North Wood Social is seriously 🔥. The hamburger I had was fire, the potato salad was fire, and the curry was fire. This place has some bomb food, and I can’t wait to try more dishes.
The owner, who is also the cook, even brought me out a sample of the curry to try. He used to work at Rivertown and asked me if I used to go there, and honestly, it meant a lot that he recognized me from back then.

During a short road trip from Chicago, we stopped in to grab a bite and so happy we did! My salmon on couscous was delicious! Service was great and attentive. Coming from a city where we are spoiled with delicious food everywhere, we were skeptical, but turned out North Wood Social was the best meal we enjoyed during our trip. Thank you, Alex, for taking care of us! :-)
