“First of all, their prices are ridiculous, I mean, ridiculous, they are so... cheap:)The food is so good. They are so nice. The ambiance is basic, simple and you are reminded how cheap the food is because they aren't going out of their way to impress you with anything but the food and their pleasant attitudes, which is to say: they got their priorities straight. I've been here many times and only today did I notice the daily specials. Ask about them. I love this place!“
“I sure love their Barbecue! And, the potato salad is special. The BBQ beans taste like they came out of the can and could be better if cooked longer, but they are OK. They are conveniently located for people that live on the north side of Florence. Otherwise, I love the place even though the food is not cheap.“
“Shawna and her team do a phenomenal job operating a restaurant. I’m thankful for a local, community restaurant my family and I can support. Their food is always the best quality, and the customer service is unmatched. I recently used them for catering, too. Such an excellent staple in Cloverdale!“
“Wasn’t packed but that’s not their fault. All depends on the people. But their service and quality was superb! Couldn’t recommend this bar more to someone! Service was quick, drinks mixed excellently, a superior experience to its competitors, will definitely be returning here time and time again. If you see the server in the photo attached you know you’re gonna get good service!“
“We had lunch portions of the grilled steak salad and grilled chicken/strawberry salad plus sides. Husbands salad was great, meat cooked to his liking. My chicken was cooked but there wasn't much meat and lots of grisel. Rest of the salad was great and sides were good too. Although they didn't have any baked potatoes for lunch. Our server was great. I just know to order the steak salad, more meat and tasted great.“
“Great food , reasonable prices , good atmosphere. Overall a good experience! Had a good waitress..enjoyed it!!Parking: Usually very crowded during peak times but did find a spot a little further awayKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly..Kids own menu , coloring activity sheet and crayonsWheelchair accessibility: Yes..at least 15 spots“
“Service a lil slow. When you first walk in, if you've never been there, don't quite know whether to seat yourself or order at the counter until someone tells you. Food was good. Get quite a bit for a low price! Would highly recommend.“
“I really wanted to give this place 5 stars, BUT the 'side items' on the menu are not even close to being on the same level as the meat options. The meats are really good, but the sides like baked beans and potato salad is like an afterthought of just quick convenience. Hardly any seasoned taste to sides. They have a "partial" winner, but they apparently dont want to knock it outta the park.“
“It's all about the tater, lol. The loaded baked potato is the thing you get here. Folks are super friendly too. I am so stubborn on BBQ that I don't feel right about reviewing the BBQ at a BBQ joint unless it's a place a grew up going to as a child ( I'm getting older than dirt so not to many places like that around anymore, lol). Being said, most people do really enjoy the BBQ ribs and white sauce chicken here, I like the the loaded potato in particular, myself. I also like the staff. From what I have seen they get it right or make it right. I appreciate that attention to service.“
“Don't you dare go here thinking you want something fancy. Come hungry and ready to eat good bbq at a good price and made by good people. My personal favorite is the bbq half-chicken, but I have had it all and it is all great. The sauce is perfect ( I literally put it on pizza). These days there seems to be a million BBQ joints opening up that sure do try to make it a fancy presentation but they all try to get the flavor from the old school places like Bunyan's and can't seem to figure out how to do it. Anyway, just skip the fancy places and go for something that has a little more heart and lot more flavor in the sauce. Also , ask them to add a hotdog in your order. Trust me, you'll get home and finish eating your BBQ then you'll think to yourself that you should have added that hotdog so you could have later, lol.For folks visiting the area: Instead of going to a place that will cost you almost 20 dollars a plate, go to Bunyan's and get your order to go. Then head down to McFarland Park ( a stones throw away...well if you have a good throwing arm that is) and have lunch on the river at one of the picnic tables. If the weather is nice, it is the makings of a pretty good day if you ask me.“
