“Passing through and decided to pop in. Glad we did. Food was excellent and the atmosphere was very cool..bet it's hopping when there's a band on stage. Only reason for 4 stars on service was because I had to leave my seat to find a server to get me a to-go box for my leftovers. Servers were great otherwise. Will definitely stop through when I'm in the area!“
“I visited here last Monday for lunch while working in the Hartselle area. I had planned to eat inside but when I got there I realized it was much more of a drive through vibe so I went through the line and then drove to a nearby large lot and ate in my car. I'm honestly not sure if there's any indoor dining or not, but it worked out fine for me.They were reasonably busy at around 1 PM - maybe 3 cars ahead of me. I got through quickly enough and was able to place my order probably in less than 10 minutes. The menu isn't super easily viewable from the line so know what you want beforehand! The lady at the window was pleasant enough.I ordered a pulled pork potato and a large (they mean it when they say large!) sweet tea. I thought the price was VERY reasonable - I got out for only around $12 for a plenty large lunch. As far as bbq taters go, this isn't the monstrously large kind you'll find at Lawlers or the nearby Pigskin BBQ, but it is certainly big enough for a filling meal. The potato was cooked nicely. I was pretty happy with the pork, too -- good consistency/pull, and I could actually taste the smoke! My one complaint is that the sour cream and whipped butter spread (not real butter) came on the side. I very much prefer restaurants to apply those ingredients themselves so they can melt into the potato beneath the hot meat and cheese. Also, real butter would've been my preference, lol.Overall though, very solid potato and bbq for a very reasonable price. I would certainly return for a tasty local lunch.“
“We had a family of 10 surprise birthday party, and Jackie was fabulous in helping with the surprise! The food is always outstanding. We ordered brisket, chicken, pulled pork, sausage, nachos, beans, and slaw. Oh, and Bart's spicy BBQ sauce is lip lickin' good! It's more of a to go place than a dine in, but there was plenty of room for our large group, a table full of teens, and A LOT of people waiting for their food. Excellent!“
“One of our go to BBQ spots! We always know exactly what we're getting. Great service and tasty bbq! The lunch box is a great value for a sandwich, side, etc! Try the corn salad. Prices have gone up, but that's across the board at every restaurant.“
“First time eating at Moe's and I will be back. I had ribs, potato salad, and cornbread. I normally don't like cornbread but theirs was outstanding. I don't know what they did to it but was mmm mmm good. Everything was great tasting and filling. The amount and quality of food was worth the price. Some of the best bbq I've had in a long time. The ladies that dealt with me were extremely nice. Top notch place for sure!“
“I usually try to take pictures of what I order but this time I was so hungry I just dug right in. ALSO, it tasted so good, I couldn't stop once I started ?The restaurant had some staffing issues so they didn't offer done in BUT they offered takeout which was awesome of them to do.I ordered the pulled pork sandwich slaw on it and the brisket sandwich with slaw on it along with a sweet tea.The meat was cooked perfectly and the flavor was out of this world. You know it's good when you don't need to add BBQ sauce to it. I did try their in house BBQ sauce though and it was delicious as well. The sweet tea was also good. Just the right about of sweet. There's a reason they have so many trophies lined up around the restaurant.Highly recommend Big Bob Gibson Bar-B-Q if you're looking for some real authentic bbq“
“I have eaten here 2 times since moving to Hartselle it's definitely a great find and place to eat the staff are wonderful people and also polite. The food is even better and always fresh. A must go to place if you are passing through or living here.“
