“I had the smoked chicken leg & thigh with collard greens and corn pudding. The chicken was perfectly smokey & tender with a delicious spice rub. Four different bbq sauces were available at the table for added flavor. The corn pudding was the texture of a cobbler and quite yummy. The turnip greens were cooked to a perfect tenderness and had a nice amount of bbq pork pieces in them, but they were way too salty. My granddaughter had a pork sandwich which was huge and potato salad with lots of potatoes and a tasty dressing.

The simple dining area was clean and tidy, but knives were missing in the self-serve utensils area. The space smells very bbq-smokey - which can be good, but it lingered on my clothes. Their food would hold up very well for take-out. I'll return.“

“The food is very delicious! Flavored good and very tender. Big John's BBQ is hands down the best in customer service. The staff is nice as well. when they 1st opened one item was missing. The owner brought the item to my home! He didn't have to do that but he did. Big John BBQ is the best!“

“I cannot say enough positive things about Jell's. The service was so pleasant, I know I'll be a frequent customer. The food came out quickly and was HOT y'all. The portions and price are fair. Got smoked chicken with blackeyed peas and smoked mac and cheese, along with honey-buttered toast and it was a truly exceptional meal. We've eaten a LOT of BBQ over the years and this place easily outdoes the majority of them, with the super-friendly owners, inside and outside dining and the quality of the food. “First time I’ve seen Dickey’s BBQ in Huntsville. I’ve had it in other States and it was pretty good. But this location in Bridge Street is 5 out of 5!!! Hands down! I was literally waiting for them to open so I could get my daughter and her co-workers some stuffed baked potatoes for lunch. The staff was so very friendly and made everything perfectly. As I was waiting, one of the owners, Mr. Tony, came in. And we got to talking, found out he was retired military and a Vet.
If there is anything I love… Military and BBQ!
You have to go and support Mr. Tony and his new business! I will definitely be back with my family. We love good barbecue and a good family. My daughter said the baked potatoes were absolutely amazing!“

“Had dinner with a girlfriend last night - my first time dining here. We arrived early so were able to take advantage of the early dinner menu for $11.99. Many protein options as well as two sides and endless fresh rolls. We both ordered the 6 ounce steak with two sides - it was cooked perfectly and the meal was delicious. Tyler was our waiter and he was excellent. He was training a new employee and she was great too. they were both friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about the menu. I will definitely go back again.“
