“I work right down the road and have been debating on trying it. I've very picky when it comes to bbq as I smoke my own brisket,ribs,chicken.... I was absolutely blown away when I got my ribs. They were FANTASTIC. Amazing smoke flavor tender and good enough that I returned 2 days later to grab a slab for the fam on my way home from work. My wife loved them. I also got the smoked sausage because I was curious. The smoked sausage was just as good. It's hard to find really really good bbq. This place is very close to my work and I pass it every day to and from work. If I get the hankering for bbq I know where I'm going. Can't really recommend anything else yet because I'm stuck on the ribs right bow but I did notice that they have beef ribs and I will be getting that soon. Highly recommend for a "hole in the wall" good pricing for good food.“

“Stopped by for the first time, had the brisket and it was excellent. The customer service was seriously top notch as well. They were so nice and you can tell they really care about the business. I also wanted to mention that the sides we picked (Mac & Cheese and Rice) were both really good too. Much better than side items typically are at most restaurants. We will be back!“

“I have lived in Alabama for about two years now the bbq has been just not up to what I’m used to ( white sauce , Cole slaw , bbq sauce, dried out meat you have to drown in sauce to eat ) just saying not a fan. Well moved to Madison and tried this place hands down the best bbq so far in the area.Tastes just like down home bbq southern style. Have to try more but this place rocks.“
“Service was very pleasant if not a bit slow. The food was good, but could be made better with a bit more explanation. For example some specialty restaurants will ask if you've been there before and assist you with the menu and food styles. This could have made our experience here much better.“

“On my last visit to Jim and Nicks my husband and I sat at the bar and ordered wings as an appetizer - they were excellent. We enjoyed talking with the bartender and found the service to be great. The restaurant is so nice, we decided to return the next evening for wings again! Love the new look both inside and outside on the patio.“
