The atmosphere for an Italian restaurant seems a little subpar. Overall, great place. Will continue to frequent when i get on that side of town.”

“My wife and I dropped in before going to a concert downtown Friday night. We were helped very quickly, ordered our beers and an order of the garlic knots. Beers were great, I had the sour and she had the Pilsner. Next time we’re in Huntsville, we’ll be back! Highly recommend!!”

They make their drinks with very high quality ingredients that taste amazing each and every single time that I've tried them.Their drinks aren't made overly sweet which I really enjoy. They do however still have the options of customizing the sweetness in case you want it sweeter or not as sweet which is great.The store has a very good atmosphere with the decorations, ramen, seating, merchandise, etc. Every time I've ordered,I've always gotten my order very quickly. The workers have always been very nice every time I've been.My pregnant wife was craving boba one night and unfortunately for me they were about to close, but I got there a couple minutes beforehand and they gladly still accepted my order and even made a fresh batch of tea, the owners father even offered me some cake while I waited for the fresh batch of tea, as their family was having a small birthday party.I highly, highly recommend this place to anyone.”

“First time visiting. I prefer savory pastry in the morning. They did not disappoint ?? I had 2 pecan shortbread cookies and a bacon scone. Hot damn! THAT was the scone of my dreams. Please gawd, don’t stop making those ??. Perfect balance of flavors with BUTTER, bacon, chive, cheddar, and a slight sweetness. The texture!!! Melts in your mouth. Just wow. The shortbreads were great as well. Perfect balance of everything I want in a shortbread and not overly sweet— nice tooth, melts in your mouth, great flavor and loved the salt flakes on top. Definitely coming back and bringing my boyfriend. I would add a photo, but I didn’t think to stop for that, and y’all don’t wanna see crumbs at the bottom of a baggie.”

“My husband and I went on a Friday night. We were buzzed in promptly & our instructions were easy to understand. The bartenders were EVERYTHING! They knew exactly what to pair together to make the perfect drink. They were both very friendly, service was prompt (they came around about every 15-20 minutes) & the drinks were phenomenal. My favorite line of the night "we don't serve our tequila with salt & lime because we have GOOD tequila" 10 stars! Will definitely be back.”

“We had dinner here on Saturday with a party of almost 30. Chaz and Morgan handled us with ease! Our food was delicious- I had the trout, and my husband had the short ribs. The steaks looked delicious too. Somehow they managed to serve us all in a timely manner and kept our drinks filled. “I’ve lived in Huntsville for 28 years now. I’ve always seen Miyako’s ever since I was 4-5 years old. I stopped in to get some to-go and it took less than 5 minutes to look at the menu, order and have it ready walking out the door. The rolls were great, fresh flavors, sushi rice was perfect, not hard and not too sour or too soft. I know they’ve been in business atleast 25 years and I can see why. Great sushi! I’m not a big “foodie” but love to see smaller restaurants succeed. This restaurant was a 5/5 ⭐️ review from me.”

If breakfast much was offered on Saturdays, I’d be there every Saturday! I hear the rest of the menu is equally as delicious but I have severe dietary restrictions. Please consider offering a Saturday brunch at least once a month if not every Saturday.”

The goat biryani had good flavor, the spices overpowered the rice a little bit was a good match for the meat. My friend had a lamb Rogan josh and it was very good with the paneer/cheese kulcha. It said the kulchas were stuffed, if it was, I couldn't tell”

And the flavor!!! Seriously perfect!! The Pablo’s fried pickles are a perfect compliment, sweet and spicy deliciousness!!! And the outdoor (or indoor) dining rounds out an amazing dinner and evening! Big John’s is a regular go-to for me!”

Pros - Lots of parking - Cozy atmosphere - Great service - Great coffee with a ton of flavors to choose from - A menu board - Indoor and outdoor seating Cons - The biggest con for me was the food selection. They have a few sandwiches, some of which are okay and others not that great. - They don't have much in the way of pastries. Maybe a few muffins. - No self-serve water. - Paper cups - Closed on Sundays This is a 3.5 star place for me, but I always round up for Yelp. For the record, any place I give 3.5 is a place I'd be willing to return to, so they're okay. Their not my go-to place for eats, but their redeeming feature is their coffee. They have a huge selection of flavors that have all been really good, and most of them are available year-round.”

“This will read at first like a rant, but it does have a happy ending. Went here before the city’s St. Paddy’s Day parade. It’s a zoo and the staff is working hard to keep ahead of the demand — and is losing ground. After a few minutes, I decide to pay my tab and leave. Fifteen-minute wait for the check, but I have to stay because they have my card. Eventually the bartender tells me that they gave my card accidentally to another patron. And that he’s gone to every surrounding bar to find the guy. And spoke to every bartender at those places to ask them to look for the guy. He buys me a sandwich and asks me to wait a few minutes before I cancel the card. Then, sure enough, the guy came back to the bar after another bartender elsewhere spotted the card and told the guy. I say this because it would have been easy in this chaos to simply tell me the bad news and be fine with me. This guy really cared and wanted to make things right. And he succeeded. That’s the kind of folks you want behind the bar.”

“Huntsville has some great hidden gems and one of those is Hildegard's German Cuisine downtown. This little hole in the wall will blow you away with their rich & authentic flavors made fresh. You can literally hear them pounding out the Schnitzel as you enjoy the orange rolls (you need these in your life). The Sampler was perfect to take a tour of what Hildegard’s does best: Chicken Schnitzel, Polish Sausage and Kraut, and Geschnetzeltes (Hunters Stroganoff). Each one was done perfectly and made you wonder how much you could keep eating. Warm potato salad on the side and I was in heaven. For restaurant week they had the smoked pork chop and WOW was it good. A rich deep smoked flavor that made the fat taste like bacon but left the inside of the chop perfect. Käsespätzle (German Mac-n-cheese) on the side was a perfect way to enjoy an old style dish. The only minor complaint is that their German Chocolate cake just has whipped chocolate icing - no pecan & coconut icing like the real thing.”

I base that 3 1/2 Star Rating on the fact the protein portions seemed rather small compared to other establishments. Additionally, I was taken aback by a $2.50 each price for a very small street taco. I'm sure they will improve with time, or at least I hope so. I will give them one more try in a bit. The $5.00 big beer was a good option as well. My wifes steak was cooked as she asked and she said that it was delicious. The place is small and at this time the menu is limited as they grow. I saw a 95% health rating certificate on the wall. Service was very nice and pleasant. I wish these folks great success. Try them I think you'll like them.”

“Hubby and I were there on a Wednesday around 3pm. Atmosphere relaxed and staff very nice. Only two low tables so be advised if older person or person that can not get up into a bar height chair. They offer a military discount 15% , which is always nice. I had a brisket sandwich with a side of turnip greens. Hubby had a small order of dry ribs, potato salad and hushpuppies. We always rate a BBQ site by how well they do the sides. Special hint, I ordered the sandwich, which was much cheaper , tons of meat like the platter and you still get a side. Tossed the bun. The brisket was moist , chopped with a little bit of fat and tasty. The turnip greens were a BIG disappointment. You can tell they are made fresh, but lacking taste and flavor. I did see a few pepper flakes and even added vinegar, but didn’t help. This recipe needs to be tweaked as it was a BIG miss. My husband’s small rib plate ( 4 1/2 ribs) were seasoned well, moist and meaty. The rub was a good blend. Again we had some issues with his sides. The baked potato salad had big pieces of potatoes , but drowning in the dressing that tasted like too much sour cream? And/or mayonnaise. The hushpuppies had corn in them and were very crunchy. They were OK. We will definitely go again and try different sides. The owner came out to ask the customers about their meals. That’s a nice touch! Wishing them all the best!”

“Classic Indian dishes in a modern space. Service was efficient. The kale pakora was tasty, but the batter to kale ratio was heavy. The onion pakora lacked crisp, like a soggy onion ring. The goat biryani had good flavor, the spices overpowered the rice a little bit was a good match for the meat. My friend had a lamb Rogan josh and it was very good with the paneer/cheese kulcha. It said the kulchas were stuffed, if it was, I couldn't tell”

“Hey Huntsville, I just wanted to brag on these guys right here. I was excited to see that there was a wing place still open this late at night, so I got in the car and drove all the way here to North Parkway from where I was at roughly 10 miles away. I arrived at exactly 1:31a.m. and was happy to see they were still open and the lights were all on. I walked inside and was waiting to order and was told by the employee that they stop taking orders at 1:30. I told him that whoever messaged me on Google when I asked if they were open said they were open until 2:00, he told me he didn’t know who that was but it was neither of them and he wasn’t going to serve me. So I left and was on the way to Cookout bc I am hungry and there is not very many options this early in the morning, on the way there I explained to whoever was on Google what happened and told them they should specify that on there. So people don’t drive all the way there just to get turned down. He then told me that they have the time mixed up and told me to go back and ended up paying for my food, gave me a free drink, and a free piece of cake. It made my night/morning and I just wanted everyone to see how much the owner/employees value just 1 upset customers opinion, even though it wouldn’t have made much of a difference in reality, but they still made sure I was happy. So thank you MK Wings for being so professional, generous, and going the extra mile. They also hooked my plate up which is a blessing since I was just in a car wreck and have been depressed and not eating well because I lost my job and have been stuck at home with a hurt neck and having to deal with all these lawyers and stuff, even though they are just trying to help. The wings are amazing too as well as the Cajun Ranch fries.. I 100 percent will be a regular customer from now on! Yall are awesome -Sam R.”
