“The food menu changed recently. I miss the shredded cheese on nachos but can still order it instead of the liquid cheese. There aren't cheese fries on the menu anymore under appetizers, which was my favorite happy hour item. You can order them, you just pay for each additional itemThe 1/2 burgers and fries on Tuesday's are awesome...all of them.Wednesday is $1 wing night. This is my favorite place for wings also. Taco meat is extremely salty. Unless you like super salty food, don't eat the beef taco meat. That is the only thing I don't like that is on the menu.“
“The people were extremely patient with me as I called my girlfriend for clarification on her order. I also received plenty of help with what is in the food. Lastly, the food smelled heavenly and looks just like the picture! If you want a delicious, authentic experience come “
“It has been a few years since I've been to El Mariachi. Myself, and my grandparents used to come here often, but had since started to going to El Monte because it is closer to my grandmother. We decided to give El Mariachi some love today since had not been in so long. Right away, the biggest change that caught my eye was the decor, they have gone with a more western style theme and have done away with the paintings that I remember... but I digress, we're here to talk about the food. First, the salsa. The first thing that caught my attention was they use fresh cilantro which gave a nice kick when you take that first bite, followed by the other spicy nuances that you want in any salsa. For my entree, I had the chicken fajitas. They came out promptly and were still sizzling. I also had the salad with refried beans, fresh guacamole, and rice. The fajitas themselves were great without any additional toppings, but blended with the guacamole, sour cream, and salsa, makes for a delectable little bite. All in all, it was a good experience. Service was prompt and attentative, and the food was good and fresh. While it may not exactly be like a fine wine in that it gets better with age, it certainly has not lost it's touch. Will definitely be coming back!“

“It was very busy but the waiter did a great job with our party of 11. He kept the chips, sauces and drinks refilled. He got all the orders right and everything came out in a timely manner. I got the chicken tortilla soup and it was very good. Everyone else raved about their food as well, from the tacos to the burritos to the fajitas. Even though it was busy the restaurant was clean and had a fun atmosphere. We had a great first experience. Everything was delicious and the prices were excellent. We'll definitely be back.“
“Love Rosie's, their service is always great. The salsa at this one is a little sweeter than the others but still okay. Lunch quesadilla is plenty of food and comes out fairly quickly. The tortilla was crisp and had a great, almost buttery flavor.“
