It’s been a while since I last ate here. The food was decent, but our waitress was very hateful in her tone. Her attitude worsened when we casually pointed out an item that she forgot as part of our order, and when she came back with it, she slammed it on the table and cried “Here you go!”
After that experience, I decided to not leave a tip and never returned since then.
Ran out of gravy and rolls! Pinto beans actually tasted burnt! Vegetable were cold! The server was good and the atmosphere was nice however! Food was a disappointment!
Food and service was good. Prices are too high.

Based on the reviews, Cracker Barrel is still one of the best places to get quality, flavorful food at decent prices. The food is always great, with specific meals like Chicken and Dumplings, the chicken and dumplings platter with fried okra and mac n cheese, chicken fried steak with broccoli and hash brown casserole, and Grandma’s Sampler being mentioned. The service can be fantastic, with many servers described as attentive, pleasant, courteous, kind, welcoming, and great to talk to. However, the service and online ordering needs a lot of work at some locations. There have been issues with pick-up orders not being ready on time, with one customer waiting over 25 minutes and feeling ignored by the staff. Despite this, many customers will definitely come back because of the good food and excellent service from specific servers.
