Applebee's in Huntsville

“I pick up Applebee’s a lot on my way home from work. I usually order the blackened salmon or the bourbon chicken and shrimp meals, and they are usually always good and their broccoli is usually awesome. The service is always good. That being said last night I ordered the bourbon, chicken and shrimp and I ordered a side of broccoli. For some reason the chicken tasted like it was cooked in soap, and the broccoli had absolutely no seasoning on it. I called the restaurant explained what happened and the manager Miss Lisa was so sweet. She made a note of my name and told me to call her when I was coming back by and she would make it for me. when I work tonight I called. I didn’t even have to tell her who I was. She knew as soon as we started talking who I was and she said OK I’m gonna go in there and get it going. I’ll see you when you get here. I picked up my food( Miss Lisa was still very sweet) came home. I ate my meal and it was amazing. She did a wonderful job and she is an absolute asset to Applebee’s she is the sweetest person. She’s also the reason I came on here to leave this review, because she was so sweet, and so kind and I greatly appreciate her. I hope Applebee’s knows what a great employee they have.“

“We decided to give it a try since it's close by.

On a Friday night, no wait and not that busy. We had an excellent server Jackie, and she was attentive and on top of everything.

Pretzel appetizer and fried pickles were good. Burgers were just ok. I ordered the OM Cheeseburger and nothing like what was advertised, very little cheese on the skillet and the burger was to for my liking.

BUT on a Friday night to be seated with no wait, and having a good waitress was worth the visit.

Will we go back? If we can't decide anywhere else and knowing we can get in and out. It will still only be more than likely a once a year type visit.“
