We sat at the Hibachi Grill and the chef did a great job of not only entertaining us but preparing an absolutely delicious meal! I had steak and salmon and they were outstanding! There were five of us and we all highly recommend Umi’s!!
This was one of the stops that I wanted to try out while attempting to find a great sushi place. What they made me was good. This is not a place to avoid. They were very busy for a Sunday afternoon. Everything I seen looked good.
This is a great Japanese steakhouse. We dined in, and did not do the hibachi grill. However, the bento boxes were loaded with options. We also got the Florence roll, which was a very good. It was definitely filling. Our server, Lexi, was excellent as well.

The yum yum sauce and salads are highly recommended. The restaurant’s decorations are attractive, and the place is very clean. The staff consistently provides good service. A new chef who plays the ukulele adds a fun touch to the atmosphere. Umi Japanese Steakhouse is a recommended spot for families and date nights. They also have 1/2 price sushi rolls every Tuesday and Thursday, including all regular rolls as well as specialty rolls. The fried rice and hibachi are also loved.
