In Florence to pick up furniture, and drove a few extra miles to give Chat and Chew a try. Old fashioned hot dog and hamburger stand with ice cream. Worth the drive! We enjoyed everything!Kid-friendliness: Hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, onion rings, fries or tots with milkshakes and sundaes for dessert? what kid doesn't like all of this!
We moved to this area from a different part of Florence a year and a half ago and I kept passing by this place with intentions to stop and try it, I finally did about 9 months ago and ever since o go back 1-2 times a week. They have great burgers, fries, tots and shakes. They have a vast menu but that’s all I have tried because it is so good I I get a craving for their burgers often. Love this place! It is a small owner-operated cafe with great, fresh cooked food! When you are there, be sure to get one of their signature ice cream cones with the chocolate chip eyes! Oh, and the deluxe hamburger is awesome!! You can eat inside or outside on their covered patio!
