My family has had so many great experiences at Maddogs Grill!! We are a group of picky eaters & this place has something that everyone likes. The service is outstanding. The staff has helped my family celebrate many occasions from my mom being cancer free down to birthdays, they are always amazing! We are regulars & will continue to be. I highly recommend Maddogs Grill! Some of the best!

My best friend and I decided to stop here for dinner as I've lived in Clanton for three years and still hadn't tried it. We were promptly seated by a lovely hostess, and we were surprised by how huge the menu is. Lots of options, and they all sound incredibly tasty. I got a double cheeseburger and she got the Mac & Cheese burger, both with the battered, seasoned fries. After about roughly 7 or 8 minutes, we got our food and oh my god it was HUGE! They didn't come to play. The patties were just the right amount of crispy on the outside, nice and juicy on the inside. The toppings were all crisp and fresh, and the cheese melted beautifully. I finished half and got the rest to go, which I am happily enjoying as I write this. Two burgers with fries and two drinks only cost us $30 and some odd cents, plus the tip. Speaking of, our server was the sweetest and the quickest and I regret that I did not remember her name.
We left full, laughing and riiiight into the ice cream shop next door which I will review next. Just go here. It's good. If you want a nice sit-down dinner at a restaurant, this is definitely in the top 3.

Would not honor the maddogs gift certificate. There was no Exp Date on It. UPDATE BASED OFF REPLY ,THE DINNING ROOM MANAGER WAS THE ONE THAT TURNED DOWN THE GIFT CERTIFICATE HER NAME IS JOANNA AND YOU THE OWNER CYNTHIA MADDOX RECEIVED THE CERTIFICATE IN THE MAIL WITH A LETTER STATING WHAT WAS WRONG ,AND DID NOTHING, BUT TALK CRAP ON LINE. DO YOU REALLY WANT EVERYONE TO REALLY KNOW WHY YOU DIDN'T HONOR THE CERTIFICATE BECAUSE I CAN DO THAT.

Not many people there. Was sat down promptly. That was the best thing. My family was there for 10 minutes before another family came in and they were waited on before my family was. We waited an additional 10 minutes with no waiter or waitress even acknowledging us so we left.
Chili cheese dogs were bland. Chili didn't have flavor but had all the beans and hot dog tasted boiled and then seared on a flat top. Fried mushrooms really salty. Honey BBQ and teriyaki chicken was good. Was charged for an appetizer I didn't order.
Update: based off reply. The current pending amount of my card is 47.63. if my transaction is pending the incorrect amount then I sincerely apologize. But the current price on your website and on your physical menu for the food items I ordered were 14.99 + 3.49x2 + 8.99 + the drink (i guessed at 3$) and tax would equal about 37. Minus the military discount (which I greatly appreciate not many places I've been do that) plus the 20% tip then equals about ~40. So if I'm missing something I'm extremely sorry and I will definitely correct my review for my mistake.

I had the Maddog burger, which, personally, just didn't do it for me. It was fine, just wasn't for me. First time here and I enjoyed the service, the atmosphere, the salad bar, the onion rings! I WILL be back again to try more food items! I won't knock it just cause I didn't personally like what I ordered, I'm sure plenty of others will! Ya don't hesitate to visit Maddog's!!! 5 paws!!!!
