Amazing service and good
I’ve lived in Columbiana for 2 years and have never tried it. Today I tried it and I’ve been missing out! For “gas station food” it is BUSSIN I’ll tell you what. It was clean, they were nice, and the chicken gyro and hummus I got was AMAZiNG! If you haven’t tried it you are missing out!
For a small town with limited options, this food option has been well received.
I love that they offer Gluten Free Pitas.
Not a fan of their concept of 'less is more'when it comesbto how many employees are working at a time. They seem to struggle to keep the good employees. Wait times for food goes from 'bearable' or 'understandable' to 'Okay, I've got to go now'. Which one will you get today? Even when you ordwr ahead, the wait remains the same as they must prioritize the customer in front of them.
Google asked me if this place had a 'theme'.
Yes, never enough cooks seems to be their consistent 'theme'.
Nice people, clean and good food though.
Just don't be in a rush. Maybe that is the 'theme'? Slow it down and take a chill and have a pita. I can dig it.
My husband and I stopped in on Sunday afternoon (4/13/25) to get a quick bite to eat. We’ve visited this chain before in Columbus, GA a few times and it has always been consistent with quality food for a reasonable price. There was only 1 employee working there. The inside was clean and orderly and she greeted us and was very friendly. She even apologized because she was the only person working. Here’s our issue: we paid $51.00 for 2 steak bowls. What we received was definitely not steak and IMO, no where near $51.00 worth of food. In each bowl there was less than a half a cup of bland rice, a kids sized salad with hardly any feta, onions, banana peppers, tomatoes, etc. and 3 tiny strips of half burnt, old tasting gyro meat. This has not been our experience when eating at other PITA locations in the past. We would not recommend this location to anyone as we were definitely ripped off.
We ordered a really big takeout order for a Christmas party and it was absolutely perfect! The food was great and everyone loved it. Totally a crowd pleaser!
Food needs more moisture, the steak was dry and mixed with the pita made a mouthful needing water. It had plenty of sauce, but too thick to make a difference. I’d take a juice from the tomatoes or something, anything to help the dryness. The taste profile is nice, but again i’m distracted by the lack of moisture. I think it could be great but if you’re going to make gyros they need a good drip to them. Fries are also okay.
I was pleasantly surprised by this place. The music was a little too loud inside, but the foot was actually pretty good. I really enjoyed my steak fries and would definitely eat here again.
Our order was completely missing one plate and the girl working complained on the phone about having to remake it because she “already cleaned the grill” and was “closing early because they were slow,” when we had to drive all the way back to the place to pick up order. They also forgot all of the extra sauce and pita that we ordered. Really disappointed because the food is usually very good, but this is the second time our order has been missing and the service was awful, so we will not be returning.

Food is great, but the hours are incorrect online. Says 12-8 on Sunday. Sign on the door says 10:30-3:30, but I got there at 3pm and it was closed already. Poorly operated.

Sign says they close at 8, and I really wanted hummus! It's 7:48, doors are locked, and the employee counting down the drawer wouldn't even look up :(

12:12 pm on a Thursday. Restaurant is full, 5 people waiting for orders. Only one person working. She kept saying "I will be with you as soon as I can." Busy preparing food. Note to manager: you need two people behind the counter, especially during lunch hour. Our party of 3 people left instead of waiting.

The food is amazing. They offer a multitude of choices. The rice is fluffy and delicious. There gyros are scrumptious. I have never had a bad meal here. I love trying new things. They also offer deals on certain days. So if you want to save money, be sure to order those. Plus, they have yogurt and a Sneaky Pete’s in the same store. A little bit of everything for everyone. It’s a must try.

No wonder I was the only person at the Cols GA location today. I don’t know what has changed but that was the worse gyro I have had in a long time. I asked to have it remade and it wasn’t any better. I spent $15 on lunch and it was awful. I didn’t enjoy it all.
