The service is excellent, my wife loved the pork, and the sauce is good. The slaw is interesting, it has pickles in it. Not my thing but still not a bad idea. Mac and cheese was good. Okra was tasty. Green beans were good. I got the brisket plate. It was cut with the grain(so tough and chewy), had no flavor, and was very dry. I would recommend the other food, but definitely not the brisket.
Very friendly staff and exceptional BBQ! Must have if you’re around Columbiana.

My 3 sisters and I stopped for lunch today on our way home from Guntersville. I had the chopped smoked chicken...absolutely delicious! The meat was so moist and tender. I even ordered "to go" to bring home. The service was great. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal!
I am reviewing just their brisket sandwich today 10/8/24 ordered two brisket sandwiches and it was tough and dry same thing last week normally they have the best brisket you could ever eat but lately it’s let me down so have to look elsewhere for brisket
Vegetarian options: They have great salads and all the vegetables are great
Recommended dishes: Steak and Baked Potato, Hamburger, Banana Pudding, Cheeseburger

I ordered 1/2 order of chicken nacho’s. It was supposed to not come with jalapeño,s. Before I left the parking lot I check it and took it back inside. It was taken to the open kitchen. I was appalled instead if of remaking it the lady grabbed off the jalapeños and sent it back to me. Not the way to handle an order. As you can see jalapeños are still on it. 11.00 in the trash.

BBQ is normally pretty good. Service is normally pretty slow and folks that work there don’t look too happy. I normally call ahead and get 2 pounds for a family meal but since there phone was not working I just drove there. BBQ is 16 dollars per pound but looking at the menu a whole butt is 38 dollars and they said I get 4-6 pounds and I figured it was only 8 dollars more. The total was 48 something and they charge you 5 dollars to chop it and a 2 dollar administrative fee. My advice is to watch for hidden fees. And be prepared to wait.

Half the bbq was cartilage and couldn’t chew. Bbq sauce wasn’t on or included so the food was super dry. Banana pudding was alright, but the entire experience wasn’t worth 20$ per person
