Lakeside Grill at Coosa Island

This is a great little restaurant on Logan Martin. It’s not far off 231 so it’s easily accessible yet it feels like you’re away from everything which makes it feel like a special getaway. We enjoyed the band, had a great waitress and service, and the food was great. I can recommend the shrimp Alfredo, the cheese curds, and the chicken finger basket. I look forward to going back. I especially like the atmosphere, almost like being at the beach.

This place is a secret gem with an amazing view of the lake! Great service and atmosphere. Bingo on Thursday nights and live music on the weekend.

It's small

There’s no way this food was cooked to order. The hamburgers were absolutely previously cooked and re-cooked, making them completely over cooked and hard as a brick. The pork on the nachos was so dry, it was almost not edible. We spent over $70 on lunch just to be disappointed and hungry. On top of that, we waited 30-40 minutes for this pick up order which makes no sense given the nature of the way this food was prepared. Sad to say, this was our first and will be our last experience eating here.

Lakeside Grill is a casual bar and grill on the lake. The food is good and servers are friendly but it has some issues. Every time we have been they have been grossly understaffed. It took us an hour on two different occasions just to get our food. The doors to the outside patio stay open, so there is a terrible fly problem. They have live music performed by local artists, who are actually really good! I feel like the place has potential, but they need to get the problems worked out.

Docked boat, then tied up. Dock needs help. Ate on patio, nice time with friends.

if you are going here for drinks and the live music then great. The food is decent but be prepared to wait FOREVER after 5pm. 1st visit I didn't get my food until 1.5 hours after ordered. They literally brought the bill to me without me even having my food yet. 2nd visit we ordered we appetizers at 6pm, didn't get them until 8:10 because kitchen "was backed up", appetizer came out with our dinner order. Half of our party didn't get their food until 9:30, management did make it right and did a great job. But like I said be prepared as the kitchen can't handle the amount of people during peak season at peak time. great atmosphere and drinks.

The atmosphere and music outside were great but the food and service were both horrible. The Alfredo tasted like they just dumped a bottle of Kraft parmesan cheese and popped it in the microwave. It took over two hours to receive our food and there were so many empty tables. It did not make sense.

Never had a bad experience with the food or ambiance. Everyone is really attentive, and the service is excellent! Excellent area to eat, relax, or simply take in the scenery.
