This is a great little restaurant on Logan Martin. It’s not far off 231 so it’s easily accessible yet it feels like you’re away from everything which makes it feel like a special getaway. We enjoyed the band, had a great waitress and service, and the food was great. I can recommend the shrimp Alfredo, the cheese curds, and the chicken finger basket. I look forward to going back. I especially like the atmosphere, almost like being at the beach.
Lakeside Grill is a casual bar and grill on the lake. The food is good and servers are friendly but it has some issues. Every time we have been they have been grossly understaffed. It took us an hour on two different occasions just to get our food. The doors to the outside patio stay open, so there is a terrible fly problem. They have live music performed by local artists, who are actually really good! I feel like the place has potential, but they need to get the problems worked...
if you are going here for drinks and the live music then great. The food is decent but be prepared to wait FOREVER after 5pm. 1st visit I didn't get my food until 1.5 hours after ordered. They literally brought the bill to me without me even having my food yet. 2nd visit we ordered we appetizers at 6pm, didn't get them until 8:10 because kitchen "was backed up", appetizer came out with our dinner order. Half of our party didn't get their food until 9:30,...
