Warm and friendly, great food. We started with the fried pickles and moved on to the Philly cheese steak and a blacked Catfish sandwiches with fries and onion rings. To our delightful surprise we were served hand cut fries and homemade onion rings. Kudos to the chef. Everything was truly delicious.

We stayed for karoke and it was obvious there was a tight nit group of regulars but they welcomed us and made us feel right at home.

I didn’t enjoy my experience or time at this restaurant; it was awful. The bartenders/waitresses were very rude and acted as if they were mad about something the whole time we were there. The cook who brought out our food this afternoon looked like she had been scratching her skin while cooking, possibly due to drug use; she’s the blonde one, you won’t be able to miss her. I was very disappointed in the food as well; it was undercooked and dry, the burger felt like a brick with cheese. I don’t know where the owner hires these people, but he needs to do more thorough background checks on some of them. Not all the bartenders/cooks are bad, some seem like good people trying to do their jobs, but I bet that the owner and the people he employs here make it harder for some of the good workers to do so. Thank you, and again, I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. -Alexis

Sweet Home is a hidden gem I've come to adore. From the moment you step inside, the friendly staff makes you feel welcomed. The cheeseburger here is simply outstanding, juicy and packed with flavor—definitely a must-try.

However, the real star for me is their pizza. My wife and I indulged in a large, thin-crust pizza loaded with fresh toppings, and it was a revelation. The size was generous, living up to its description, and incredibly satisfying - so much so that we had to take some home in a to-go box. Paired with a beer and a diet coke, the meal cost us less than $30, a steal for the quality and quantity.

Initially, when we moved to Cropwell, we were advised to steer clear of Sweet Home as it was labeled a "dive." Thankfully, another recommendation redirected us, and Sweet Home has since become a favorite spot. Coupled with the excellent food is the heartwarming sight of families dining together, everyone seemingly content and enjoying their time.

For anyone in the area, Sweet Home is definitely worth a visit, whether for a quick meal or a laid-back evening with friends or family.

Looking forward all week to coming here for my birthday dinner and food was terrible! Fries had been reheated. Took forever to even be acknowledge that we were there waitress took our order brought our food and then never came back. Literally sat there for 12 minutes waiting to see if we were gonna get a refill or anything. Nothing go to ask for ticket and to go box and she’s sitting there at the bar drinking! Worst birthday dinner ever! $80 for a glass of water bc that was only thing worth a dang.

Went there to eat and have a few beers and everyone running the place was wasted!!! The food was not cooked thoroughly so we asked them to replace it or just take it off of the bill and they got defensive and said we were lying!!! The owner was so drunk and cussing…never experienced anything like this before!!! Totally embarrassing for this establishment!!! The floors are all uneven and it feels like your going downhill and are about to fall so be careful if you decide to go into this place 🥴

Grease tasted old. Fries was cold like room temperature. Onion rings were over cooked. Diet coke was flat.

Ate there Tuesday night and have been sick ever since. The grease tasted old and the service was terrible. Every time we asked for something from the waitress, she would hold up her hand and tell us to wait, then have someone else bring it to us later on. Went without a drink for around 15 minutes. Could have just been a bad night, but from my experience, I would not recommend.
