Applebee's Grill + Bar

I’m not trying to be that person as I’m a server myself.. but service was terrible tn . My sister sat the entire time without a refill nor did she ask me if I wanted another mix drink… Never asked if we were doing okay or checked up on us throughout our entire visit appetizer didn’t come out for close to 25 min (it was loaded frys) gave the table next to us excellent service which made me feel less than. I always tip least 20% as long as our service is okay. Couldn’t bring myself to do it this time . Won’t be back.

Went with family tonight for a nice meal. Had honey mustard spilled all over me on accident by server…but what really was upsetting was the raw chicken in my salad. Appetite was ruined unfortunately. Our waitress holly was very nice and sweet though.

We frequent this Applebees quite often…but no more. The is the second bad meal we have had recently at this location. Ribs were cold and very tough and beer was flat…again. We might have spoken to our waitress but after she had to replace my draft with a bottle beer, she disappeared. I don’t know what has changed here but it is not for the better.

The beer is okay, but the ribs are hard to cut and dry, plus the black mold growing over the sinks under the bar makes me concerned about the health inspectors' intelligence.
Evidently, Lynn Owens needs supervised training.

Ordered the $9.99 Big Kickin Chicken sandwich deal. The chicken sandwich was okay but not great. The chicken was dry and a little tough. The fries were really good, and being endless was GREAT. Shared a chocolate lava cake which is AMAZING. Good atmosphere with lots of big screen televisions with football games going.

Dont expect to get all you can eat like advertised online.
Edit to clarify for owner response:
Waitress was rude and snapped back talking over us everytime we tried to show her the online website stating that all you can eat wings, riblettes, and shrimp were back for the cullman restaurant. The restaurant was not busy and yet 9 of us was packed into a booth. Then after we ordered and finally got our food all of it was mixed up and wrong. We just picked stuff off and swapped around until we got everything close to what we ordered, because we didnt want to wait forever for them to get it right . We only come to applebee's once a year because every year we get gift cards and every time we go and use them reminds us why we dont go to the cullman applebee's. Long waits, rude staff, sub-par tasting food and this year we just happen to get to dine with the smell of raw sewage coming from the restroooms. Oh and dont look up at all the years worth of dust ,black mold or whatever it is on the ceiling around the vents.
This isnt a one time bad experience at this restaurant, its an ongoing problem. I think we will try a applebee's somewhere else to see if its just the cullman restaurant.

I try to not leave bad reviews but our experience was bad enough for me to be forced too. Atrocious all around from service, food, drinks. I’m surprised the community of Cullman is keeping this place in business. I’ll never go back to an Applebees again.

Service was good the girl came back and kept checking. But the food was awful couldn’t even eat our food I’ve never seen Mac and cheese so wet and slimy and the ribs we couldn’t even eat. It was so over cooked it wasn’t even funny couldn’t even tear it apart. Just got the check and left never been so disappointed 45 bucks and didn’t even eat

It took about an hour and 15 min to get our food. The service was terrible but they had plenty of staff on hand. There wasn’t very many patrons in the restaurant while we were there, so I don’t understand the reason for this inferior service. The General manager was rude and confrontational when he came to the table and a server cursed at our party. This is unacceptable behavior from any restaurant or business. Also the bathrooms were disgusting, and smelled terrible. I definitely do not recommend dining at this particular Applebees.
