The cocktail sauce had just the right “heat” to it without be over the top & He likes it hot! Then he ordered a beef filet cooked medium! It was perfect. ? I chose the Chef special of scallops & succotash! It was really good. Our dessert was the bread pudding. Oh! My!! Simply delicious! I had to bring the half of it home, so I could enjoy it even more the next day!!!? & yes the Orange rolls with the real orange yest was superb!! “I have to give Guthrie's in Cullman, AL major props. Long story short, I needed 100 chicken fingers FAST. The very nice, helpful girls at Guthrie's in Cullman, AL said they could have them ready in 30 minutes, which was cutting it close for my situation. They had them ready in about 20 minutes and I was able to get them to my event just in time to feed everyone. And they even gave me an extra finger to give my little dachshund that was with me. A huge THANK YOU to the amazing staff at this awesome location. Y'all made a blessing a much bigger blessing. Thank y'all so very, very much!!!!”

“This is my favorite Chinese food in Cullman. I order take-out semi often, ordering over the phone is easy and I can tell when the woman at the restaurant answers VS an answering service. I prefer the woman who works at the restaurant. Phone calls take about 30 seconds, am I given an estimated time or a total? No. But they also don’t take my name or number, and yet every time I show up a few minutes later and my food is hot and ready. The food is always delicious, I’ve tried a variety of the menu options and haven’t found anything bad yet. I love the General Tso’s Chicken combo platter, and the vegetable Lo Mein! They will give you a lot of food for a very good price. The store itself is clean, and I appreciate that it feels family owned, and friendly, and not like it’s trying to be “trendy.” Rice and Soy is here to give you good food at a good price, nothing more. And I love that.

Vegetarian options: Many of the dishes come as a vegetarian option, highly recommend the Moo Shu if you’re a vegetarian!”

I was caught by surprise as I was placing my order at the drive order sign. I believe that when a customer is remembered by a previous order sight unseen this employee deserves recognition. It's rare these days! I've owned a business; this employee seems to enjoy her work and by my observation takes care about the customer. When the service is this noticable it certainly makes the whole process worth it. When I got to the window I was met with a smile, politeness, and knowledge of the menu questions I asked. Oh, did I mention my onion rings were perfect. Cook did a nice job. Keep it up midnight crew. I'm sure I'll be back!”

“I love the Dixie Chick chicken salad. It's the only one they serve with onions and it is divine. My grandchildren love the sugar cookies. There were several of us in our party and they were very helpful in creating a larger table for us. Everyone there was pleasant and doing their job to the best of their abilities. It made for a pleasant dining atmosphere for both adults and children.

Parking: If you get a chance to try their white chocolate cake, don't miss it. It is memorable!

Kid-friendliness: The children who were with us were treated with respect and patience since one of the younger ones was learning how to order for herself and it took a little while for her to get it all out.”

They said 30 minute wait but they were very fast with getting me and my Daddy Straight to an table at maybe 15 minutes ➖we stayed positive , patient and had great patience ?

“I’m not kidding when I say that this is the BEST barbecue that you’ll ever have! I can’t recommend them enough! If you’re eating in-house, I highly recommend their classic BBQ sandwich or a BBQ baked potato. Any choice of meat will absolutely satisfy you, but they’ll oblige you by giving you a sample of each. Any of their in-house homemade sauces are amazing, so take your pick! If you just so happen to encounter their food truck in the wild, then I HIGHLY RECOMMEND their street tacos, which are only sold from their food truck! It’s something that I wish that everyone could experience at least once in their lives… Just please do yourself a favor and check them out! And if you loved it, leave a review!”

“These small dunkin donut express inside the Pilot stations are actually better than the big stores. They are generally fresher and moister. Probably because they are behind the glass case unlike in the stores where they're out in the open and prone to get stale quickly.”

“Cutting to the chase with highest recommendations: Moo shoo pork, bourbon chicken, hot & spicy shrimp, egg foo yong, and shrimp/beef/chicken/pork with garlic sauce, and the wontons with garlic sauce.

I have eaten literally every item at this place, including the chicken nuggets. When I was in high school, there was a restaurant in Tarrant that I would frequently visit and I had a copy of their menu that I would strike through, and get a different thing each time. I wanted to try doing that again, and finish off the menu of a Chinese place, so after I tried the sesame chicken there and figured it is a place that does things right (see below), Nothing that I have gotten here is bad, except the chicken nuggets (please don't go to a Chinese restaurant for chicken nuggets) and the two tofu dishes. The steamed health dishes were a lot better than I expected, having never gotten one before.

I have a standard for Chinese restaurants: if they don't do sesame chicken right, they won't do the rest right, so if I go to a place I may go to more than once, I will get sesame chicken first. There's two kinds, the syrupy gross kind, and the good kind. New China has the good kind. (One exception is Ming's Garden in Gardendale. They have terrible sesame chicken but great Mongolian beef).

By the way, there's a dish called Dragon & Phoenix that is a mix of General Tso Chicken and Hot & Spicy Shrimp in the same plate. Get one or the other, and don't get that dish, because the shrimp's sauce is thinner than chicken's sauce and will make it taste weird and watered down. Obviously I recommend the latter dish more or else I wouldn't have put it at the top.”

All the staff are welcoming and super friendly. Lady (Yes, that’s her real name) is the best waitress there, full stop. Period. She always remembers my Husband and I and always makes a point to say hi!! Her hair bows, pigtails, and sweet smile are all just the cherry on top of our wonderful dining experience.
The food is unbelievably delicious!! My most favorite is the combo dinner. There’s so many options to choose from!! Plus, you get a large helping of rice and beans with it.
At Èl Patrõna they give you WAY MORE food than any other Mexican restaurant in Cullman, seriously.
The Margaritãs are completely out of this world yummy!! They do not sleep on their alcohol.
