“We did the tour. We had lots of fun. You could tell things were becoming run down just a touch because they said they could not find help. They were down from four employees to one and couldn't seem to find anyone to hire. Really nice people and the tour was so fun. We've enjoyed eating our apples. Took some home. Great prices.“

“Duchess Bakery is a solid local donut spot with a ton of history! It's been around for a long time! I will say that their donut menu is a bit limited and they're not known for making any crazy or incredibly unique donuts. And they do not serve any kind of cake donut. (I'm partial to blueberry). However, they are famous for their simple glazed donuts and rightfully so. If you are lucky enough to get them warm, they melt in your mouth. A guilty pleasure for sure. They serve other things here too, such as cookies, but I've never tried them. And there are other donuts on the menu. But you can't walk into this place and NOT walk out with a bag of glazed donuts. It would be a sin. I have seen other reviews where people have talked about them being "out of donuts". And it is true, they try to make enough to get them through the day and nothing more. Sometimes they run out, and that's it. So come early. You'll likely stand in line for a few minutes, but it's worth the wait. Enjoy!“
“We just tried this place for the first time coming from Birmingham going home to Florence. From now on, this is a must stop! I can't remember the last time I had such high quality breakfast food. I tried the southern pecan coffee and I'm so glad that I did. The biscuits were huge, the pancakes were fluffy, and the bacon was crispy. I got a breakfast plate and in order of pancakes to share with my son and we are taking about 2/3 of it home. We just had so much food. And the girls working today were so nice and welcoming. My little boy seemed to really like the patio, We both really enjoyed the welcoming southern atmosphere.“
