“Yesterday was my first time at Olexa’s and the experience was great. Our waitress was very helpful with her recommendations for a first-timer. She recommended the Smoked Turkey Sandwich with a side salad. It was delicious and came out quickly given there was a full house at lunchtime. We also had a slice of the quiche of the day which was delicious also. By the end of my meal, I was very full but of course, there’s always room for dessert. She raved about the cake and yes, I had a slice of the warm buttercream cake. It was so good. I’ve been raving about Olexa’s since yesterday and will return with family and friends.“

“It is without a doubt, a great French bakery in Birmingham. The cream fillings, cherry filling / compote, the rich dark bold flavors of chocolate. You can taste the quality of ingredients and the skill that went into each dessert.

The flakiness of the crossaints, the crunch in every bite and to top it off,the burst of creme. With all the fillings, creams or fruit, you can still taste the butter.

There was a very long line as there should be. This location delivers as it promises! 🙌“

Some of their options are desserts disguised as cookies. Like the Dubai cheesecake and heathbar tres leches. .both incredible btw. We got a bunch of different flavors and shared. And for that, I tried various cookies and the pink sugar cookie, the ultimate peanut butter cookie, and the brownies Sunday cookie. Cookie we're all enough to make me a cookie person. It's going to be hard to enjoy this place in moderation. Everything is really good“

“Best pastry shop in Alabama! I dropped by this morning to get a ham & cheese croissant and an apple danish. I devoured them both. One bite of the croissant and dozens of crisp flaky shards fell into my lap. It was perfect. The apple danish was like an elevated apple pie. I’m not sure what type of cream was under the apples, but I loved it. Hello Bakery is a must visit if you’re in Birmingham. Also, the shop owner (I’m assuming) was very kind. I will definitely be back whenever I’m in town.“
