“My family and I were at the Plantmania event in Daphne, AL and came across her booth. We ended up getting a lemon cake jar, a lemon cream cheese pound cake, and two chocolate chip cheesecake sandwich cookies. OMG is all I can say about the sandwich cookie! The cookies were perfect, the filling.....mmmmm, but together....oh my!!!!“

“I had such a great experience at Crumbl! The cookies were fresh, soft, and tasted amazing. The staff was super friendly and the service was quick. I also love how they have different flavors to choose from every week. Definitely one of my favorite places to get a sweet treat, and I’ll definitely be coming back! 🍪💕“

“Kay and her team at Iz did an AMAZING catering job at my wedding! Everyone complimented how good the food was and, most importantly, that the servers were so attentive! One guest commented that her glass never even reached half way before it was being refilled. That made me feel so glad I chose Iz. From the first time I spoke with Kay, I could tell she knew exactly what she was doing and knew all the right questions to ask. Kay and Iz Catering are true professionals and will elevate your special event. I will definitely use Iz again for any catering needs.“

“It is without a doubt, a great French bakery in Birmingham. The cream fillings, cherry filling / compote, the rich dark bold flavors of chocolate. You can taste the quality of ingredients and the skill that went into each dessert.

The flakiness of the crossaints, the crunch in every bite and to top it off,the burst of creme. With all the fillings, creams or fruit, you can still taste the butter.

There was a very long line as there should be. This location delivers as it promises! 🙌“

“Came in from out of town and this was such a sweet little shop to visit. We got the snickerdoodle, carrot, red velvet and strawberries and cream bundtlette! SO GOOD!“

“The salted caramel pretzel is my fav but I just tried the coconut for the first time and WOW.....sooo good! 😋“

“My husband and I LOVE Sunshine’s!!!! We are within walking distance and go as often as possible. Glenn and Sunshine are always so helpful when we don’t know exactly what to get. The Vietnamese coffee with coffee jellies is my favorite for a drink!!“

“Great tiny local bakery with some absolutely killer pastries when you're craving a little something sweet. We've had the croissants, pecan sticky buns, and fruit danishes - and all have been great. Every time we go we've tried something different and nothing is ever short of quality. Very small interior, basically just room for a few people to stand and the counter - but we don't really care about sitting inside, just be aware if that's your plan - there's no seating. Ladies behind the counter are always patient and kind.“

“I just have to take a moment to brag on K&J’s Elegant Pastries because they made my baby girl’s 4th birthday so incredibly special. When I say this cake brought tears to my eyes, I mean it. The soft pink Paw Patrol theme, sweet little Skye on top, the custom “4,” the beautiful bow, the tiny details — it was everything my daughter dreamed of and more. Seeing her face light up when she saw it is a moment I’ll never forget. 🩷 It wasn’t just a cake… it was the centerpiece of her day. It made her feel celebrated, loved, and so big turning FOUR. 🥹 Not only was it stunning, but it tasted just as amazing as it looked. The cake was moist, flavorful, and a huge hit with both kids and adults. We received so many compliments and everyone kept asking where we ordered it from. Thank you, K&J’s Elegant Pastries, for putting so much care and talent into making her day unforgettable. You didn’t just make a cake — you helped create a core memory for our family. Forever grateful 💕✨ #PawPatrolParty #4thBirthday #GratefulMama #SupportSmallBusiness“

“Bandit Patisserie is spotless, modern, and so welcoming. The pastries are absolutely incredible, we loved the savory Danish and homemade pop tarts. One of the staff, Ann Martin, went above and beyond, even surprising my brother with a free iced coffee later on just because she remembered his earlier request/conversation. A true small business gem where kindness and quality shine equally bright!“

“The prettiest tastiest cake I have ever had. Its was freshly baked and delicious. It was so pretty, I didn’t want to cut it.“

“The caramel cake baby bites are a carbon copy of my Nana’s homemade caramel cake- which is quite the task to achieve. The caramel was not tacky to the touch but incredibly smooth, moist, and a wonderful piece of nostalgia in one small bite. They have amazing other flavors: strawberry, red velvet and cookies & cream being other top contenders.“

“Stopped by this location for a quick snack during shopping . cookies were amazing , fresh and staff was friendly ..don’t have picture because I ate them too fast..
Crisp edges soft center . I purchased healthy peanut butter cookie , chocolate chip and the magic city cookie .. priced between 2.75 -3.50“

“I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Edgar’s Bakery at Financial Center today! Brooke was incredibly helpful in helping me send cakes and cupcakes to our clients. We needed a very quick turnaround, and while the typical wait is longer than I had hoped, Brooke went above and beyond to make sure our order was delivered the very same day so our customer could celebrate.

Her service, responsiveness, and willingness to help was exceptional. I’m extremely impressed with the service I received and will definitely be using Edgar’s again for future client gifts. Thank you, Brooke, for going above and beyond!“

“My order was ready on time and I just pulled to the window and picked it up from the nice guy who had it ready to go. The scones are really good. You can taste the butter, and the flavors of each of the varieties. They’re all delicious but my favorite was the toasted coconut.“

“I took my granddaughter into Crumbl for the free thin cookie offered, along with putting in a 6 CT order. I had to ask how to get the free thin cookie. The employee wasn't very nice & said it had to be on the app. I spent several minutes & couldn't find out how. She also tried on my phone, then got the manager who was training someone @ the time. It wasn't on the app, but their screen. The 2 had words between themselves in front of us. I just didn't feel very welcome & spent about $25 on 6 cookies, which is kinda ridiculous.“

“Celebrated with a group in Chez Lulu. The atmosphere was great and the food quality and assortment was nothing short of amazing! The staff were so friendly and welcoming. My favs were the Greek pizza and chocolate Potacreme.“

“My favorite local restaurant- delicious food, atmosphere and staff exceptional, and also fun to shop for unique gifts.“

“We brought some meal voucher manual entry credit card numbers I got from an extended airline layover last night. The manager Aubrey quickly figured out how to organize the transaction and remained patient and friendly through the process. I appreciated the outstanding customer service. We were able to get breakfast and a stash of various pastries. All in all, it was a good compensation for an extended layover and resulted in far more value than buying anything at the airport.
I travel all over North America weekly and occasionally visit Europe and South America. Comparing directly, I'd say Edgar's stands out as a very good option, and it certainly ranks high among the best in Birmingham. Thank you!“

“A newly opened shop with an exceptionally friendly owner Gina. She went above and beyond to make sure I had arrest eating experience. And I did. I had a chicken chipotle panini and a peanut butter, banana, and honey shake. Both very much delicious. Thanks Snowies! And good luck!“

Not only was it ready upon arrival as requested, but it was also DELICIOUS! Everyone enjoyed the flavors! They were also gracious with the dipping sauces and even offered me a drink for my travel. 10/10...Love, Brown!❤“

“After coming to this one, I prefer the one in Madison. The staff is so much friendlier in Madison. No one welcomed me in at this one. I stood there for 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged me and asked to help. No, thank you or have a nice day after my purchase. It just wasn't inviting.“

“Whenever I get a high test score, my grandfather drives me out and lets me get a whole basket full of pastries, and it’s never more than $30 for the whole lot. The best part- they aren’t expired. We call it “The Day-Old Bread Store,” but everything is dated at least a month ahead of when you buy it. I highly recommend this as your go-to pantry stuffer store“
