“The donut quality is impeccable. The filled donuts have a little bit of fruit puree in them and there's an excellent selection. Prices are also very fair.Additionally, most donut shops tend to not have coffee already made. That was not the case on my visit on a late Sunday morning so all around the pleasant experience.“

The crust is tasty, delicately crisp, great taste, and the inside ingredients were cooked to perfection.They also have a card you can get. Make purchases, get the card marked, and eventually you will earn free pies.The owners son greeted us and he has a super kind personality and a beautiful smile. I appreciate great customer service and he had it. That alone had me willing to return soon.It helps to call in your order or order online because we waited. No big deal because it didn't take too long. It was certainly worth the wait.They also have a veggie style pie if anyone is interested. It was enjoyed by our daughter who doesn't care for mushrooms but she at it all.“

“This little gem of a place is baking another level of deliciousness! I first received a tin of scones a few years ago as a Christmas gift. They were amazing and I was hooked. I started to order them as gifts and always receive rave reviews on how wonderful they are. So many different flavors that it makes it difficult to narrow down what to get. “Today I was leaving Grandview Hospital broken and hurting. As I was about to walk out a young man, later discovered to be the owners son, smiled so kindly and offered me a piece of lemon pound cake, there's no way he knew it is my favorite pound cake. I am the Sheriff in Blount County Alabama and was in uniform and he handed me the cake he thanked me for what I do and told me to be safe. It was as if God knew I needed a little piece of cake and a kind hearted smile to bring me some peace. Other than the kindness shown to me the cake was the most amazing piece of pound cake I have ever eaten. It was so moist with just the right amount of lemon to give it the best flavor. “My first time at this location was on 12/30/23. We were greeted with smiles upon entering the bakery. This location is more on the smaller side so it's quite cozy inside. Cupcakes were buy 3 get 1 free. Selections made were red velvet, Italian cream , lemon and strawberry. We also had a chocolate marble pound cake slice. Really enjoyed these yummy treats on a late Saturday afternoon. The staff is really nice here and very helpful. The young lady , Taylor who assisted us did a really good job filling our orders! Ample parking is available and outdoor patio and seating is an option.“

“Rickey J's Bakery is sooooo good! Had to get a cake for a birthday party recently and went to Edgar's & got a few cupcakes to sample before making a decision. Let's just say I was underwhelmed. I even considered going to a grocery store, but did some online research for a good local bakery and saw reviews for Rickey J's. The reviewers are spot on. Again, I got cupcakes to sample, and the owner/baker was so nice & helpful. She even gave me a free slice of cake to help me decide. I chose the key lime cake for the party & it was a huge hit... very flavorful, really moist, & great texture all around. The guests wanted to know where I got the cake. Of course I encouraged them to go to Rickey J's. They're my go-to bakery going forward“

“Would you believe me if I told you this was my FIRST ever cinnamon roll? Looking back I have no clue how I went so long without one! I ordered the plain cinnamon roll with cream cheese frosting and was absolutely delighted! It was soft and sweet but not at all overpowering. I usually am not a sweet's person and definitely wouldn't usually finish a whole pastry, but I was able to devour my roll entirely and didn't feel weighed down or have any kind of sugar rush after! The employees were as sweet as can be, making casual conversation with us after learning about my cinnamon roll-less life. Will most definitely be back to try more flavor combos!“
“Everything Iz catered our fundraising dinner at the Vestavia Civic Center. The guests said it was the best food we have ever served and we have been serving dinners for over a decade. One guest liked the meal so much he threatened to lick his plate! My favorite is the Carmel cake. It is to die for!! I think we HAVE to use Everything Iz to cater our dinners from now on or we may have a revolt on our hands!“
“Really cheap baked goods and so many candy and snack options. You don't really need to talk to get your food for the customers who dont speak Spanish but use Googletranslatefor good measure. You can pick out the baked goods you want by yourself with the platter and tongs that are at the front then you pay at the counter in the back.“

“I am new to the area and saw this place today. They had slices of pound cake and mini pies. They might have had other items too but I only noticed these, they captured my attention right away. I purchased a mini sweet potato pie, key lime, and a pecan. I also purchased a slice of lemon pound cake. My 12 year old announced she didn’t like pound cake or pie… A couple of hours later I tried the sweet potato pie. The 12 year old asked for a taste and begged to have the rest. Tonight we equally ate the lemon pound cake. Both superb. We haven’t tried the other 2 minis yet, but have no doubt they will be equally delicious. This place had the most delicious sweet potato pie and even better than my own (really good) lemon pound cake. Prices are reasonable and they have fantastic employees.“

“Wonderful local bakery with multiple Birmingham area locations. They also serve breakfast and lunch, but their wide selection of bake goods is the primary focus. One of my favorite items is their thumbprint cookies.The breakfast and lunch menu are limited, but the items are fresh and done well. The standard two-egg breakfast is what you would expect and pretty good. For lunch I like the chicken salads.I have been here several times and have always been satisfied with food and service.“

She explained the basics of the supplies used, properly icing a cake, and how to create roses and leaves.
