“I’m from out of town, and my wife and I had lunch here for the first time today. Her Philly Cheesesteak was really good, and my burger was good. Folks working there are very friendly. Only 2 Criticisms: The burger had a little too much salt, so I would back off just a little. Also, and this applies to the entire city of Cullman, the water tastes so bad don’t try to drink it or the tea. I don’t think locals notice but it tastes like mud to me.“
“Say no to the catfish. Wife had a lunch BBQ Sandwich with 10 pickles and a tablespoon of meat flavor fair. Basically it's a place that can. Be good again. But let's face it NOBODY WANTS TO WORK.. tell me where to sign upI've personally seen 50 + restaurants close because nobody will work . Waitress was wonderful but price was great .. so it's really hard to review at lunch I always give a place a second chance .. fries and onion rings were great waitress great“
“The young lady was exceptionally kind and courteous. She made sure and gave plenty of Parmesan, red pepper, and special papa John’s spice packets without me even having to ask. My pizza was great and I was very happy with my experience.“
“I was recently stranded with 3 horses in Cullman. I couldn't fit in the drive through with my trailer and the lobby was closed for staffing issues caused by the storm. Not only did the manager Dwayne let me in and serve me. He carried buckets of water to my horses in the trailer to keep them safe. Employees like this are hard to come by. Thank you KFC and thank you Dwayne.“
“I WISH I could give a stellar comment but...the fries are ALWAYS cold and dried out, the chicken fingers are getting smaller..yes I know you can't help that but throw an extra one in the meals at least. Nothing on Zaxby's menu is cheap so it would be nice to at least have fresh fries.Vegetarian options: Not the place for you. They have oil that cooks every thing nearly so not a true vegetarian place.Dietary restrictions: Gluten, fat free and low sodium is not found here except maybe salad.Parking: Parking is fine until the drive through wraps all the way into wal marts parking lot then people get very irate.Kid-friendliness: It's fried chicken and fries...yes kid friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes they have plenty of handicap spots but if they have a line, which they usually do, then you can't even get into the handicap spots.“
“I just want to say that everyone at this establishment was so helpful and so friendly. When you go get fast food most of the time the workers act as if you are a burden to them but not here you are treated with the upmost courtesy and respect.“
“I have to give Guthrie's in Cullman, AL major props. I slipped out of church, Sunday morning, to go get 100 chicken fingers for a gentleman's 90th party which was immediately following the morning service. The very nice and helpful girls at Guthrie's said they could have them ready in 30 minutes, which was cutting it close, but there was no other option. They had them ready in about 20 minutes and even toted them out to the car for me. I was able to get back to church with these delicious chicken fingers and get them to the fellowship hall just as church was about to dismiss. Perfect timing, thanks to the great folks at Guthrie's. And they even gave me an extra finger to give to my little dachshund, Fletch, that was with me. A huge THANK YOU to the amazing staff at the Cullman Guthrie's. They made a blessing a much bigger blessing.“
