5 Best Italian Restaurants in Cullman

“We had driven past this place so many times — probably dozens if not a hundred — and never realized it was actually an Italian restaurant. The signage outside really doesn’t stand out much, so it’s easy to miss. But the first time we finally decided to stop in, we were genuinely surprised in the best way! 😲🍝

From the outside and even inside, it looks very simple and unpretentious, almost like a small family-run Southern BBQ spot. But once the food arrives, you quickly realize it’s something special. The dishes are incredibly tasty, rich in flavor, and very satisfying 😋✨.

Since that first visit, we’ve come back several times and tried different items from the menu each time. Our plan is to eventually taste everything they offer and then keep returning for our absolute favorites! The portions are generous and definitely filling too 🍽️👍. Truly a hidden gem!“

“Best pizza I’ve had in a long while! It’s a must try for the cheese sticks with blush sauce. And the strawberry pretzel cake was divine. Macy was a fabulous server, just covered in awesome sauce! Cold pizza leftovers were perfect. Will definitely come back and often!!!“

“Long time Carlton's customer here. I have been eating here for over 30 years. Their lassagna was always delicious as well as their pizza. However, I just ordered lassagna and so did my mother. Both of us had to send it back because it tasted terrible. After sending it back I ordered a pepperoni pizza ( a go to there) and it barely had any pepperoni on it. I really am sad about this but I am not sure we will EVER be back.“
