It had been decades since I’d visited the Busy Bee Café, but we stopped in with my family while in Cullman, and it reminded me exactly why this place is considered a local icon. Established in 1919, it still has that classic charm and hometown feel. The burgers are huge, almost smash-style, with a unique mix of beef and flour that gives them a crisp, crusty edge. Definitely different from your typical burger, but in the best way. And the fries? Hands down some of the best anywhere. The pork plate was also a standout. It came loaded with a generous portion of fries and a salad, all for under $10. Easily big enough to share. Service was friendly and surprisingly quick, faster than most fast-food spots. This is clearly where the locals eat, and it’s only a couple of blocks off the main strip. A great stop with great value. I’m glad we came back.

Great home town cafe’. Very nice staff and great prices for those on a budget. I got the Southwest Burger which was made like a smash burger, my husband had the regular burger and it was made the same. The fries were great! Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. I will definitely come back! It starts getting busy at noon so come early. They close at 3pm.

This is the Burger Man, with Best Burgers in America Association, and I was invited to Busy Bee Cafe to score their Bread Burger for them. WOW, it is my first "Bread Burger" that I have ever had. It's a Unique Burger in a class of its own. The bread in the burger takes on its own flavor that a regular beef patty. It's a great burger that offers a different take on a burger. If you have never had a bread burgnt in Cullman, AL. er, I recommend you put Busy Bee on your Bucket List. The same recipe since 1919. The oldest burger joint in Cullman, AL.
