Walked in and one of the employees was talking bad about a customer who had just walked out of the door, and continued to do so while I was standing there looking at what donuts to get. She finally asked me what I wanted in a rude manner. I told her 1/2 dozen glazed 1/2 chocolate. The other lady behind the register took my money and gave me a bag and said have a nice day. I start walking away and the rude lady basically screams at me “you forgot your chocolate donuts.” I couldn’t believe how unprofessional and rude she was. I feel bad for her coworkers. The donuts were gas though

My husband and I were passing through the little town of Cullman when we passed the bakery. We did a u-turn when we saw the reviews and that it was a family owned bakery since 1939. We purchased half a dozen of the glazed donuts and 2 minutes later only 1 donut remained. We have traveled all over and their donuts are top notch. There is no funky after taste with them either as is the case with other donuts that are fried. We are so glad we stopped although our waist lines won’t be happy it was worth it!

We headed to Duchess Bakery around 8:30am. They had doughnuts, doughnut holes, and bismarks. Customer service was excellent. 5 star experience. Chocolate bismark was amazing! Nothing can compare.

What a surprise. A great little bakery in downtown Cullman. I had the chocolate covered Bismarck. WOW. We also tried the doughnut holes and the glazed doughnuts. Everything we tried was great.

This place is has the best donuts. I try not to go too often because I end up eating so many. I shared this dozen with my niece and her sons. It was a first for them and they really enjoyed the light fluffy taste. They are still great the next day after a few seconds in the microwave.
