We headed to Duchess Bakery around 8:30am. They had doughnuts, doughnut holes, and bismarks. Customer service was excellent. 5 star experience. Chocolate bismark was amazing! Nothing can compare.
What a surprise. A great little bakery in downtown Cullman. I had the chocolate covered Bismarck. WOW. We also tried the doughnut holes and the glazed doughnuts. Everything we tried was great.

We did a u-turn when we saw the reviews and that it was a family owned bakery since 1939.
We purchased half a dozen of the glazed donuts and 2 minutes later only 1 donut remained.
We have traveled all over and their donuts are top notch. There is no funky after taste with them either as is the case with other donuts that are fried. We are so glad we stopped although...
