El Mezcal Mexican Grill

This place is amazing. The rice is not mushy, all the food is seasoned well and tastes fresh. Even the cheese has great favor. This will be the only place we go for mex food in Cullman.

Good salsa and cheese dip. Good fajitas. Atmosphere cool. Great service.

It was a disappointment. We love Mexican food but this was not very good. The large cheese was small and watered down so much that it wouldn't stay on the chip. Same with the chorizo dip, most of it ended up in my husband's beard.

Never have had to wait to be seated. Fantastic service. Great food!

It was tasty. Great chips and salsa. Excellent menu...wife loved the margaritas. Street tacos very good. We will be back.

The waiter was on time with orders and service. Food was really delicious and was generous portions. I will definitely visit this restaurant in the future and highly recommend others.

They don't have shredded beef! I'm so sad. Hamburger is not a traditional Mexican preparation. And it isn't as good as shredded beef. However their pork was excellent. It was too early for a margarita so I'll have to try them again, unless I find a place in town with good shredded beef!

Very nice people and very good food!! Only $20 for grilled chicken and shrimp with rice and a small cheese dip.

El Mezcal prepared meat for my daughters wedding on a very short notice. I can not say enough how delicious this food was! If I could give 10 stars I most definitely would! The team was so wonderful and accommodating to us in what was a very stressful time and we can not thank them enough or give them enough praise for all they did!

They must have been running low on salsa. I've never been served so little. What we did get tasted like tomato sauce with a hint of picantè. Then when the waiter asked if we were ready to order when we hadn't even opened our menus yet, I responded with a "no". I don't think he heard me because he seemed to get an attitude when he asked quite a bit louder. I don't know how the food is because we left. I didn't like the waiter & the salsa sucked, so I had enough & went somewhere better.

DISGUSTING 🤮 food!! WARNING- Do NOT eat here!! I have no idea how they are still in business. Everyone in our party was sick and it was a very bad experience!!
