We had the best experience for our anniversary dinner today. Excellent food and service. Our appetizers came out at the same time as our dinner. The manager apologized and gave them to us complimentary.
Several team members, including Samuel, checked in with us to make sure everything was perfect. We recommend highly!

We had oyster sampler. Oysters were so small I am not sure some of them were even there so we did not get a second dozen for half price. Way too expensive for this area. This place won’t last

This was an expected find. While on my way to the apple orchard there was a sign for this place on the same exit. I was definitely intrigued. I LOVE great seafood but being in the south everything us fried. First impressions the place is beautiful. Very classy but not snobby. The smiles were real when they said welcome that's how I felt. Next came Carla my server. She is more than a server, she is just a wonderful human that makes you feel like you're an instant friend. She knew all about the menu and could answer any questions you might have. Her suggestions were right on the money. Every single dish was full of seafood, amazing flavor, and such creativity. Definitely try the seafood pot pie.

We had a fantastic time at Half Shell Oyster House! If was a weird night.. , a transformer blew next to their restaurant knocking out their power for around 45 minutes, they did have a generator but weren't able to cook food, . We did get to eat some raw oysters, which were great. Also, a piece of butter pecan cheesecake 😋. The people there were gracious and informative. They were very polite and sorry this happened, which was totally out of their control. It's a great place to eat Menu looked great, We Will be back¡!!!

Oh, boy! This place rocks! Louisiana oysters were awesome! Harley, our server, was superb! Great menu and drink list. Short. But decent wine by the glass list. By the bottle list is good. But, they don't have oyster forks cause people steal them! But I always bring my own!

I had high hopes for this place. I’ve tried it a few times just to make sure. Food is always dried up and cold. Food doesn’t have much flavor. Just average seafood and very overpriced.
The food was delicious and our waiter was excellent. He checked on us often, kept our glasses filled, and brought us everything we wanted in a very timely manner.

Unfortunately I've had to adjust my rating based on the last two visits, gumbo excellent can't deny that, oyster sampler $26.95 where's the freaking oysters, pea sized oysters both times, seafood combo pick 4 for $38.95 literally has 5 shrimp , a crab cake, piece of rubbery grilled mahi mahi and 3 tiny fried oysters ($4 upcharge)but they'll load it up with fries and hush puppies to make it look like a lot, when I leave hungry and I've paid $90 for lunch yeah I'm mad, unbelievable and literally empty for lunch yesterday around 11:30 am.

This is the place to go in Cullman for great food and great drinks! We’ve had steaks, fish, and seafood and everything was amazing. Definitely get the sweet potato crème brûlée as a side. It is divine! Our server, Dawson, was excellent. He’s very attentive and communicated well with us throughout our meal. We’ve had him twice as our server and we will always ask to be in his section when we go back.
