We moved from Birmingham and were sad to leave our favorite Chinese Restaurant behind. I tried many places between Cullman, Hartselle and Decatur and finally landed on Peking. The food is really good and its always hot and fresh. We drive 25 minutes to go pick it up, because it's worth it! The inside of the restaurant is nothing exciting, but that isn't an issue for me. We always get it to go anyway.
The only decent place to get sushi in Cullman without spending an arm and a leg. They also have a much bigger variety on their menu than the only two other take out Chinese places around here. Everything always tastes fresh and amazing! Not to mention their lunch prices can’t be beat. I’ve been hell bent on rice and soy for almost a decade (which don’t get me wrong, is also amazing!) but finally somewhere I can get my mei fun, seaweed salad, and sushi all in one place. And...
It was fast… but that’s about the only positive note. The lo mien, beef and broccoli, egg drop soup and hot and sour soup were very bland. The general tso chicken was fine… but nothing special. It was ready very quickly though
