Hank's Sports Bar & Rumors Deli

Had higher expectations for this place ended up disappointed. Ordered a philly steak and their version of a Reuben as well as an appetizer the voodeo chips with smoked chicken. All of the food came out at once, nothing comes with the sandwiches, everything is separate. The Reuben was cold,the bread was not toasted and when I asked about 1000 island dressing, I was charged for it,which I'm ok with but when I had water to drink bc I had beers from the bar,I was charged for tap water of which I never got. 48.00 for 2 sandwiches and a 10.00 appetizer was too much for lunch and what was given. I do love the doodle mascot though

Great place to go on Sunday after church. My wife and I love it. Lots of options on the menu. All of it delicious. If you get an appetizer, the boudin balls and the sauce they come with are fantastic.

Great people and good food. The bestttt loaded fries and great sandwiches too.

Great place for food and drinks! The bartender was super friendly and makes some great cocktails. I would definitely suggest the Hanks old-fashioned.

Great place to eat, drink, play trivia, and have great conversations.

Loved the selection in the menu. Hanks version of Rubin and mufalata.

Experienced Rumors Deli today and to say I was delighted is an understatement! The food was amazing and the service was unbeatable. I had the Rumor sandwhich and the peerjack Mozzarella sticks. ?

Not a good experience. I tried the sausage, and was really disappointed. On top of that the bill was$31 for the two of us. Half that would have been a big price for what we got. All in all not a good visit.

Table was dirty when we sat down. Saw No one cleaning tables during entire stay. Got phily steak sandwich. Used what tasted like velveda cheese and sandwich extremely greasy. Meat made sandwich bread soaked with grease and difficult to hold and not tasty. Would not order again nor recommend. Simply put it was a waste of money. Decent sandwich is at Augusta Grill, best one is sold in Birmingham.

Great food and awesome service. The employees were very informative and helpful. Smash burger with bacon added was cooked to perfection ?. Must go see . Large space to eat and very clean. O and guys don't get hurt in the men's bathroom . You will just have to go see.

My husband and I stopped on a Monday at 2:30. Going in the door we noticed the hours said they close at 3 so when we got to the counter we asked if we could still order without causing an issue. The girl said it was fine, not a problem. We hadn't been here in quiet a while so my husband was trying to ask about two of their sandwiches, but the girl was so busy being on her phone she wasn't answering his questions. We didn't realize that the sandwiches didn't come with a side and we were shocked when the bill was over $40! They charge $4 extra for a side of fries and then didn't even put seasoning on them. I ordered the chicken joe blue sandwich, it used to come with blue cheese crumbled on top. Mine didn't have any and the roll was burnt. Again, I was trying to ask the cashier questions, and she just stayed on her phone. She was abrupt when she did speak to us, and acted like we were bothering her. We won't be back for a very long time. Sad thing is we used to love this place.

Hanks sports Bar & Rumors Deli is really a nice spot to enjoy a sandwich in Cullman. Most of the locals still call it Rumors. It is in a restored historical warehouse which has a neat atmosphere. My wife and I both got the Rumor sandwich which is their version of an Italian sandwich. It runs $10.50 for the whole sandwich. We have eaten a good many over the years and keep coming back. If you are looking for a unique side try their crunchy salad. It is very good. All sandwiches are served with a dill pickle on the side.

Parking: There is a parking lot down the side of the building. If it is full there is pleanty of easy to find free street parking.

Really great spot right in downtown cullman. I have been to their bingo and trivia nights. Lots of fun and the drinks are priced well and the food is great.
Best authentic boudin balls around!
