Absolutely loved this restaurant! From the moment we walked in, their staff greeted up with a smile. One look at the menus and we knew immediately the food was going to be authentic! Our server brought out salsas verde y roja and they were flavorful! I order the caldo de res, and if you want taste and comfort in a bowl I highly recommend! Wonderful experience!
A bit of background…my wife and I have been to Mexico many times. We’ve taken food tours where the locals have eaten. Bakeries and cantinas, tortilla shops and spice sales. I’ve traveled the US and have eaten at Mexican grills and restaurants. If they add cheese to meals, and add sour cream, that is not Mexican. Taqueria Las Cebollitas is Mexican.
