The burgers are amazing. One of the best burgers my husband said. The chicken Schnitzel is absolutely delicious. Tender and so flavorful. Prices are good and the service went above and beyond. Definitely worth the trip and money!!

The best meal I have ever eaten in Cullman!
We both had fish specials & cleaned our plates. Hubby & I still talk about how heavenly the crembrulee was to this day!! I think the only real chef in town must work here.
I would not recommend the restaurant for LARGE parties as it’s a very intimate restaurant.

We happened upon this gem after visiting the Christmas market. Our server was very friendly and helpful. We ordered the fish of the day, and it was amazing - tender and moist. The brussels sprouts were also very tasty. We'll certainly be back!

I was in town with some friends for 2nd Friday and instead of eating at one of the food trucks, my friend suggested going to The National. We stopped to look at the menu board out on the sidewalk and saw blackened grouper and we were sold. We were greeted by the waitress and we took a table by the front window. I had the grouper which was melt in your mouth delicious along with green beans and brussels sprouts. Washed it all down with a Mich Ultra. The waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu when we asked her some questions. We had a good dinner and look forward to going back.

Baked Feta was amazing! My wife had the Lamb chops, maybe the best we’ve had. What I don’t understand is why this place doesn’t have a line around the block!

Since my family moved to North Alabama it's been hard to find GOOD food....so glad we found this place. Everything was phenomenal! The pimento cheese is a must try.
Surprise, it's gourmet. I saw a lot of amazing foods coming out. I was holding out for the snakebite pasta and cowboy candy jalapeños. Super good 👌 Amazing would be a better word, but still not quite grand enough.
This place produces some incredible food. I hear they have a new menu coming out. I couldn't imagine what else they are adding. You should go now and try some things and then go again after the menu upgrade to find even more amazing dishes they create.
Price is good, food is great, staff are fun and attentive. The location is spotless and fun. 💯 Great place to go with friends, a date, work party, or in my case, alone. I prefer alone. That way I can buy more for me. Leftovers... mouth watering even when cold... Give them 10 stars and a smiley face sticker. They are doing amazing thing here.
My better half and her honey-do-list partner (me) found this place and are extremely happy that we did. 👍
She enjoyed the Pecorino Alfredo Pasta, and I really loved the Shrimp, Smoked Sausage and Grits. We loved speaking with Chef Kenny. What a great guy! And, Morgan our Waitress was superb and very caring. If You are looking for a great place to eat and relax, I highly recommend You visit The National. Gary & Janice.
Came in on a Saturday afternoon while traveling and window shopping in Cullman. Wonderful surprise! We got 2 appetizers and some cocktails. All were fantastic. Mixologist have some great recommendations. Will definitely come back.
