I love stopping by and getting my favorite home cooked meal from Homeplate Cafe. The folks are friendly, kind, and always happy to have good conversation. The food reminds me of my momma and they always have great pie.
My in-laws live in Dadeville on the lake. We have been coming to town regularly for years but have never eaten here until today. (Not open on weekends.). Not a fancy breakfast but what they do is excellent. Biscuits are the BOMB! Like my mom used to make, literally. Everything simple but done very well. I love this little cafe in Dadeville! It is down home cooking in a stress-free atmosphere! I can highly recommend the rosemary grilled chicken and the porkloin gravy over rice. My hubby loves their meatloaf, chicken and dressing and jalapeño cornbread! The staff are extremely friendly and attentive. We will back(over and over...)!
