Poplar Dawg's Eatery is a friendly spot with a relaxed atmosphere where customers can enjoy good food and company. The menu features a variety of options, including baby back ribs, filet, ribeye, chicken salad, and Reuben sandwiches. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing quick service. Visitors often come back for favorites like baked beans, brownie ala mode, smashed potatoes, and pasta salad. It is a local place mainly serving working folks at lunch, with locals and lake visitors stopping by in the evenings and on weekends. They work hard and focus on offering quality sandwiches made with Boar's Head Meats, and no fried foods are prepared here. The place is a simple metal building with a gravel parking lot, and they also serve meat & 3 during lunch and Steak & Lobster in the evening. Overall, Poplar Dawg's Eatery is a good place to grab a bite, enjoy a cold beer, and relax.
