Daruma Japanese Sushi & Steak House

It was my 40th birthday. I did my researched and according to reviews & and images, it was a actual hibachi restaurant. Where they cooked in front of you. I had hyped up the kids but when we walked in the place was not what's in the photos. We were very disappointed.
The chicken in the hibachi entrée was cold. Fried rice was dry. But the sushi and other dishes were good. Service was excellent. I may go back to do take out for sushi.

My kids love the kids' hibachi and the sushi is great too! My parents loved the pick 5- they split it for lunch and it was plenty for them.

Best sushi I’ve found in Baldwin county after living here a year. Praise god

I ordered the lunch special 3 rolls and hibachi chicken to go. The rolls were made to order with fresh ingredients (you could just tell by taste) and the veggies in the hibachi weren’t frozen. Everything was great. Very thankful

Very disappointed. Don’t believe the good reviews!!! Sushi rice tasted old and dry. Food had a refrigerator smell to it. Soup was watered down. Meat needed more seasoning. Fried rice was wet and microwaved. Won’t be trying this place a second time.
